My husband and I were in Gastonia visiting family&friends and decided to grab a bite to eat before getting on the hwy headed... back home. We wanted to go inside but only the drive thru was open so we got in the already long line which moved at a decentpace We both ordered the wings and things traditional wimpy sauce but they were out of the wimpy sauce so we got the originalsauce instead. Now We both love Zaxby's because their food is always good, hot and fresh. Well not this time. The wings, chickenfingers, and the fries had not been cooked long enough. Now I'm not sure if they rushed cooking because they were trying to movethe drive thru line as fast as possible or if the were cooking without timers whatever it was please know that serving yourcustomers food that has not been properly nor throughly cooked is not a good thing to do. First and last visit. I ordered a signature chicken sandwich and fried pickles. I was looking forward to try the fried pickles.... When I took the box out of the bag, there was grease all on the bottom. When I opened the box, grease was puddled in the box. Ihad grease all over my hands, and when I looked in the bag to get a napkin, there was grease all inside the bag and the singlenapkin they gave me was grease soaked. I threw the bag in the floor, and fortunately it hadn't leaked on my car seat. I've neverseen anything like it. Staff was polite and kind. Had house salad, it was so delicious, went back next day and got the same salad! Grilled chicken... with buffalo drizzle on top. The blue cheese was so tasty! Hubby got chicken sandwich first day... fresh hot and delicious. Thank you for my new favorite spot for lunch! Read more

I go to this location often because it is the nearest to me. Sadly. I love Zaxby's, but their meals depend on Zax sauce, and... this location forgets the sauce about half the time. When you are in a hurry, this is crucial! Why is it so difficult for them? Read more

Stopped today before returning to the hospital to be with my son. When I got in the room to open the plate. My wings were dry... and I asked for extra sauce and didn't even get sauce on my wings. The food seemed as if it was left over from lunch. Thecelery was wilted as well, the fries were minimal and undercooked. I truly do not want to sound like a "Karen", but this wasridiculous. This is a regular go to restaurant we use. However, in the past 6 months the quality of the products has gone down tremendously.... We got dinner 3/17 and the wings were really small and then over cooked. The fries weren?t cooked thoroughly and the Texas toastwas burnt. I am very disappointed in this store and recommend searching out another location instead of this one if you wanttrue zaxby?s quality of food. Read more
