We visited at lunchtime. It looked clean. Our server Joshua was very nice and attentive. I got the big seafood bag in the juicy... signature flavor and was excited thinking it was going to be so yummy like the Claw Shack. But all I could taste was an extremeamount of chilli pepper powder but no garlic or lemon or butter. The crab meat was weird. Very hungry on arrival. Food was good (satisfied the palate). Sausage with #8 was very salty. Also had #12. Drinks or expensive... (tea) for nothing. It tasted more like water. The service was very slow. Almost 20 after seated to get waited on. Wouldn't goback but try for yourself. Read more
Like a moth to a flame, I was drawn to the blue light that brought me to The Juicy Crab of Gastonia, NC. I waited a week and... brought my husband. I have been looking for a place that serves seafood broil food. We were thrilled to try it. Upon entry therewas a wait , but we were happy to wait. Our waiters name was Brian. As someone who has worked in the service industry I can sayBrian was one of the most attentive waiters I have had in a long time. He didn't just do a great job, but was pleasant to dealwith, and my cup never went dry! As someone who is always thirsty that's a big deal to me. I hope he is recognized for the gemhe is. All I can say is this is a seafood restaurant and they know their seafood! Definitely suggest the juicy special seasoningfor your seafood! As a southerner I can say this I approve of their sweet tea! First time eating here and it is wonderful. Came right in the door and was seated promptly and before we could look at the menus... our server Brian was waiting to take our drink order. Service was top notch. I never had to ask for a refill as our server Brianwas always on top of it and always there with helpful insights about the menu. Food is worth every penny and I absolutely willbe coming back for seconds. Will no doubt recommend to everyone I know. Read more
My family and I had an amazing time for my birthday. The staff was so nice, especially our server AJ. She was so helpful and she... made us feel at home. Angel was our server and he was excellent!! Knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommend the hush puppies, mild tasting and... great with tarter sauce. Big shrimp and bigger crawfish! If you like heat, Cajun flavor medium heat. Read more
