12:25 pm. 10/16/2022. This place has been one of our favorite stops for a couple years now. We favor it over moes and sometimes... chipotle. We have never had a bad experience, until today. We were getting our toddler out of the truck as we listened to anemployee (short, heavy, glasses) cuss a man out in front of the store, telling him to pay his child support, as she smoked acigarette. This happened right in front of the restaurant doors. After that was over we went on in, and tried to order a saladin a tortilla bowl. We were told there were no more, and by the conversation the employees had while standing there, it wasdetermined that it was because no one had cooked any. There was also not one other soul there to eat. We were not told that anycould be made for us or sorry for the mistake or anything. DO NOT EAT FROM THIS PLACE! I usually don?t give one stars, if I could give a ZERO stars I would. My experience was bad had the... manager not come to the window and made it worst. He basically called me a liar at the drive through window. I ordered a chickensalad without a taco shell for two salads. I ended up with taco shells on my salad. They asked for my receipt which did not sayno shell. I didn?t receive my receipt back. The manager came to the window and said there were 4 employees on the ear piece thatdidn?t hear me say no shell. I even had someone on a call listening to me ask for a no shell taco. So why is my dash camrecording the whole conversation. The manager was combative and basically calling me a liar. I contacted corporate office andwill be providing my dash cam footage ,which is dated and time stamped. Unbelievable! If your going to eat there walk in andorder your food so you can walk them through step by step. It would have been more professional to acknowledge my complaintabout my horrible experience. We ordered the steak bowls. It tasted like the food was heated up from yesterday. The restaurant was filthy, yet the workers... were sitting in a booth sitting and chatting. The floors and table tops had crumbs and smears and not a single location lookedremotely cleaned. It would appear the place is run by kids and the owners need to step it up and implement processes andprocedures to avoid this. We will never come back to this location in Gastonia, NC, again. I visited this location today and while the two people working were nice enough, the gentleman was very unprofessional. While... talking about random topics he used profanity very comfortably. After putting on his gloves he proceeded to talk while making myfood and scratched the corner of his mouth. He then used the same hand to grab some of the topping for my nachos. I paid for myfood but didn?t eat it ??. I?m glad that I went inside because I would have been enjoying those nachos without knowing hownastily it was prepared. Read more

I've eaten here before with better results, but we came near the end of the dinner time. Food was old and not hot. Servers... area literally fell apart dropping another dinner on the floor. Cold items were not in the servers area but out customerexposed on the counter. Food did not taste good. I ate what i could, but tossed most of it. My wife's was a little better. Guess I can say the chips were good ... I'm not used to giving such poor reviews, but it's been very rare to have had such apoor experience too. I will not be returning for any reason. Read more

My fist time at this establishment. The first thing I noticed is that the place was not very clean. The initial employee we were... confronted with was not very friendly. Great food and great customer service. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. A guy (who I believe was the manager)... even brought me more chips and salsa to my table outside!!! The pork is so good and I love all of the options that you can addonto your food. I had my tacos loaded with topping overflowing. My daughter has an extreme dairy allergy so we have a hard time when we go to restaurants finding something she can eat. I came... in today and asked if they could make something dairy free, as well as change their gloves. James immediately washed hishands,changed his gloves, and made sure that no one else touched the food except him.
