We stayed in room 175 or maybe it was 25, regardless it was the old part of the motel. It had a moldy, urine type smell. No air... conditioning. They had an electric floor fan we had to turn on. Floor had uneven bumps and lumps all over under the carpet.Bathroom sink was dirty and stained like it hadn't been replaced since the hotel was built 50+ years ago. Front desk person wasvery nice. Bed linens very clean. I would suggest this room no longer be used until a proper renovation takes place or it willhurt your overall ratings. Read more

Friendly person at the reception desk. The location is great, no issues getting around, and we enjoyed the view in the back. The... room was clean despite them being outdated. No air conditioner in the unrenovated rooms, but they provide an upright fan. Theworst part was the hard mattress. It was as if we were sleeping on a box spring. Worst sleep of our lives! If you prefer amedium to soft mattress, do not stay in room 34. Read more

There was no free breakfast as advertised. Dinner was worse than disappointing! I ordered the surf and turf and was served a... pile of cold mushy canned shrimp, a moose steak, a baked potato that was barely warm and looked like it was leftover from a weekago and the vegetables were cold and hard! The only thing worth eating were the 3 scallops. Another in our party ordered thesame thing. We complained and were told that is how they serve it there. Seriously? No attempt to make any discount not evenan apology. I would not order food here for my dog. UDATE to the management who responded. Best hotel rooms this side of Gaspé! Closer to the Forillon park although further from big banner grocery stores. Tons of... parking, stones throw from public boat ramp, beach and ice-cream truck during summer. Restaurant is top notch... Only minus isfor families... Not much for kids around here. Read more

Cosy place for a pit stop. Just right if you're looking for a comfortable place on a budget with clean rooms and just the... necessary to spend a night or two in the area. The beds are decent, could be a bit more comfortable, but they're very clean withfresh sheets. The heater water takes about 2 and a half years to get to your faucet/shower but it's there eventually and lastsfor as long as you need it. The restaurant/bar attached to this place is very nice with above average food quality and excellentservice. Read more
