Worst place ever ! Dont you dare put your foot in this joke of a eatery ! You are better off with Taco Bell next door ! Awfull... food , slow service , waited 1 hr for a slice of toast ...with 3 other customers in the whole place ....hopeless team andmanager ! I deserve better , everyone does . I appreciate that the Iron Skillet is open at all. It's a great place to enjoy a good meal served by friendly staff in a nice... environment. Real food, not fast food, plates, silverware, and metal utensils. However, why open for bkfst at 8am? Labor issues?Offer enough pay to get the help you need! The full parking lot drives out the gate with an empty stomach every morning. Theexpensive restaurant sits vacant... because you don't want to pay double what you used to before the pandemic? You're notlooking at the opportunity costs here. What is this choice costing you in missed revenue? Would regaining that business be worththe increased costs of a morning staff? Read more
3 I love the cooked food instead of fast food With a business plan shutting down over the weekend is foolish. As when most truck... drivers are sitting and waiting until Monday to deliver load or get loaded even drive doing a dot 34hrs reset. Drove 700 miles to come back here cuz it was on my way to delivery, havent been here in a bout 4 years got here at 7 am and... nothing to eat but high priced left over cold food, pork chop mashed potatoes and carrots for $14.99, are they serious?? The waiter was very good he was working hard. I was in around 3pm, not real busy. I've eaten here over the past 8 years. When... I'm in the area I stop. And this by far was the best experience yet. They don't have the buffet anymore. I'm from Chicago, and it's basically one of the only reasons why I drive out that far. There... are gas stations closer to the Indiana/Illinois border that are much cheaper. Read more
