Disappointing!! I will try and make this short? Yesterday, the day before thanksgiving, myself along with a lot of other... people waited in a lonnnggg line to pick up our food that we ordered for thanksgiving. Troy (the owner) nor any of his staff,never came out to communicate in any way, shape or form why they were so behind passing out individuals orders. My pick up timewas 4:45pm, I didn?t receive my food until 7:00pm. Many people left because of the long wait time. Not having any thanksgivingvegan food to eat. For me, the most disheartening, is the fact that Tory, nor any of his staff apologized. I hope Tory, makesa public apology video on social media and addresses what he going to do differently moving forward. Also, the ?turkey? is alet down compared to last year?s menu. Read more
I just had the MOST AMAZING VEGAN NACHOS!!! Ordered online for pick up. Walked in to the cutest little restaurant. Friendly... faces and great service. I ordered my nachos deconstructed because I didn't want soggy chips when I got home. Put everythingtogether and dug in!! Oh My Goodness! So flavorful, and I'm stuffed! I can't wait to try something else from the menu. They haveso many things to choose from... I'm pleasantly surprised and pleased. Read more
Highly recommend this place! I was in Dallas for a layover so wanted to try a Black owned vegan joint. Got the General Tso?s... chicken and let me tell you, this was one of the best General Tso?s dishes I?ve had, vegan or non-vegan. Texture was on POINTand the sesame sauce was a great touch. The Crispy TLC Pizza is magnificent! All the ingredients work together to give me a burst of flavors with a nice crunch. I?m... sure I?ll be ordering it again or trying another pizza. I tried their chicken and waffles first and fell in love with the waythey fry and season the mushrooms. Since then, I?ve had another order of chicken and waffles and the S.O.S. The S.O.S was notmy favorite because of the texture of the mushroom (hence why I fell in love with the oyster mushrooms - nice and crispy) but itwas packaged really nicely and the gauc was good! I can?t have the impossible meat or other meat substitutes bc of my soyallergy. I always put that on the order and TLC calls each time to ensure I?m okay with the preparation or recommend anotherdish. Thanks TLC! Read more
I've heard good things about TLC and their food. I tried their lasagna yesterday and found the tomato sauce to be extremely... salty. The lasagna itself was good, but I wasn't able to finish it due to how salty the sauce was. Wasn't a huge fan of thegarlic bread either, it didn't have that garlicky punch like you'd expect. Their hibiscus lemonade was awesome. Might try itagain, not sure if yesterday was just a fluke with the sauce. My friend got their pizza and was happy with it, but I didn't tryit so I can't attest to it. Read more
Amazing food. My husband and I love the SOS burger and the TLC pizza, but truly everything we have gotten here is phenomenal.... One of our favorite spots for sure and absolutely worth checking out for vegans and non vegans alike! Read more
Today was our first time checking this place out... omg it was very good! Totally recommend ???? We got some sweet potato fries,... Buffalo Cauliflower wings, impossible vegan lasagna with garlic bread. Me and hubby are very satisfied ???? Read more
They haven?t updated their address on Maps so I went to the wrong address. The people at the old location told me they moved... locations a month ago and they haven?t updated Maps. As I drove to the new location, I thought I?d call to place a to go ordersince I already wasted so much time. Of course it went straight to voicemail. Then I had to stop at a parking lot to ordersafely on my phone. I placed a to go order online and waited 45 mins for my food..it wasn?t even that busy. I ordered the FriedTLC Mushroom sandwich. The few pieces of mushroom I got were extremely chewy and I couldn?t bite it off with my teeth. The restof the pieces I got were just fried bread crumbs smothered in oil as seen in the picture. Overall I?m very disappointed. Thiswhole experience including the drive and wait costed me 3 hrs.. for disgusting, mediocre food. Not to mention my stomach hurtsnow too.
