Some say that first impressions are the most important part of a relationship. Well then District 1 blew it out of the water!... Their banh bao Gion (crispy dumpling pork taco things) are so good, and well worth the price. I will be back sometime soon fordinner. Read more
Atmosphere is fantastic. Menu offers plenty of street foods and drinks that cater to not only Vietnamese but foreigners too.... Bring cash to pay for your orders though. They will charge you taxes if paying with credit cards. Read more

Food truck in Cali Saigon Mall parking lot in Garland. Decided to stop by on a Saturday night and had such a great experience.... Friendly staff and great set up. Tried the buns and skewers. Both were delicious. Will visit again. Read more
Nice atmosphere. You get to sit at these small tables. Nostalgic to traditional street food in Vietnam. Got banh bao gion. It's... not the traditional banh bao. It's like a small fried bread with ground pork and other banh bao meat and flavoring resembling ataco. Not bad. Little explosion of flavor. Got some beef skewers as well. Good snacks. Really enjoyed the Passion Fruit Drink, the Vermecelli Noodles are flavorful, and the Spare Ribs are decent, a... little dry. It's a fun experience. And for an average of $5 a dish, it's nice to try things out. Read more
This was my first time at District 1, I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for dinner, jumped in my car and drove over to this... new little adventure. The atmosphere was very charming and the delicious smell of food fills the air the moment you step out ofyour car. I walked across the parking lot and the music from the speakers mixed with the smell of foods draws towards District1. As I stood in front of the menu I was delightful greeted by a staff member who politely asked if had any questions, I smiledand nodded then preceeded to order. In addition I asked for a passion fruit refresher( which I didn't attach a picture ofunfortunately because I started to drink it whilst I waited for my order). They give you a little buzzer for your order and Itook a seat at a near by table as I waited. When my order was ready I collected my items then went home to enjoy the labors ofmy new food adventure. My expectations were over the moon. The display of the food looked ???? amazing. Every detail wascharming, the veggies pickled, the meats well seasoned. My absolute favorite was their tater tots.
