Overall the food was good. The oxtails were really good, actually. I ordered what was described as a 3pc oxtail dinner, but when... I opened the platter, there were 2 of what looked like regular or normal sized oxtails and 1 really tiny one lol. That threw meoff. The pepper steak was good and so was the cabbage. I also ordered the perch fillets which were ok, but they were soggy dueto the vegetables that were on top. Not a big deal, just an observation. Read more
I've never had ox tail before but I definitely will again! It's almost like a delicious slow cooked pork shank or pot roast. ... The gravy was amazing. Meat falls apart, so savory. Rice was doused with said gravy and the cabbage they serve it with can allgo on the same fork with everything else because it just fits perfectly with the other flavors. Great comfort food! I discovered this place while going to Snubway. I have had the Callaloo, curry chicken and stew chicken. What I really liked was... that the staff seams to use boneless chicken and that taates so good. Yes, I miss the bones but I was able to relax and enjoy myfood. The beef patties are good too. They have Ting and other Jamaican beverages. I really enjoyed the friendly and courteousstaff and the delicious food. Read more
Thanks to Ubereats? I discovered this Jamaican ???????? eatery. The food is pretty decent. I enjoyed the stew chicken dinner... (medium size) over brown rice ???? and beans with cabbage. Ordered this through urber eats was skeptical because it's urber eats and I never had Jamaican food before . However I had no... reason to be skeptical. I ordered a medium goat with rice and it came with a side of cabbage and I also ordered a side ofJamaican greens. The goat was cooked to perfection melt in your mouth and fall off the bone buttery goodness. The rice wasflavorful and cooked perfectly. The cabbage was just as flavorful , wish I ordered more of that instead of Jamaican greens.Don't get me wrong the greens were flavorful and cooked to perfection but I didn't like the seasoning but that's just me beingpicky. My only complaint would be is the container it comes in because the delivery person tipped my food and all the juicesfrom the meat were in bottom of the bag. Also beware the portion sizes are huge . I ate half of what I was given and it looks asif there's still a whole meal in there. The food was delicious! My first time visiting and eating the red snapper. The family were very nice and made very good... suggestion on how to eat the fish. I would love to see them expand and include dine in, so we can have the whole Islandexperience. Definitely will revisit again. Read more
