Overall the food was good. The oxtails were really good, actually. I ordered what was described as a 3pc oxtail dinner, but when... I opened the platter, there were 2 of what looked like regular or normal sized oxtails and 1 really tiny one lol. That threw meoff. The pepper steak was good and so was the cabbage. I also ordered the perch fillets which were ok, but they were soggy dueto the vegetables that were on top. Not a big deal, just an observation. Read more
I've never had ox tail before but I definitely will again! It's almost like a delicious slow cooked pork shank or pot roast. ... The gravy was amazing. Meat falls apart, so savory. Rice was doused with said gravy and the cabbage they serve it with can allgo on the same fork with everything else because it just fits perfectly with the other flavors. Great comfort food!
