Okay so let me just say, that my husband and I were looking for the best jalapeno margherita in the area and this spot came up... on the reviews. I will be honest from the moment we stepped inside the staff was welcoming and friendly. They recommended to getgrilled and crispy tacos on the happy hour menu and they were A+Mazing! OH! And the jalapeno margherita did not disappoint itwas really good, it comes second runner up from Orlando, FL.great hang out, date night, or even a party/dance night. we didn't feel the vibe that this bar prides itself on. the bartenders were not friendly, and the place is very cold and... industrial. an old school corner bar was revamped to a more modern space, but it's really a miss there's this really weird bluelighting and the music isn't the best, super super loud and we were there at 7:00 p.m.. tried the garlic shrimp which was wayovercooked.. the poor little shrimp were all curled up, any true chef knows when a shrimp looks like that he's not going totaste good. also not sure which ingredient made the sauce red and very watery. great price though Read more
I met up with a friend of mine to get drinks and a little bite. When I arrived I parked in their driveway. I walked into a... small, cute bar and grill. I found my friend sitting towards a back table. Jaleen was our server and she was very nice andattentive. They have a good happy hour and I got the red sangria and my friend got a beer and empanadas. The sangria was goodand my friend said the empanadas were ok. For my second drink I got the lemon drop martini and it was a bit sour but it wasn'tbad. The hive bar is a nice local spot and the lighting is everything there. The bar/ restaurant is small. There is a small parking... lot in the back so if your lucky your able to get a spot. I have been there about three times and all three times there was adifferent vibe to it. Sometimes it?s absolutely so packed and other times it?s just a handful of people and have a laid backtype of atmosphere. I?ve had the blt which was great and also the wings. Ordered wings with the Hive Sauce and was brought out tater tots. After everyone else was done with their food I was brought out... the wrong set of wings again. Instead of apologizing for getting my order wrong TWICE, the woman with the half shaved head andour original server with the half blonde ombré had the WORST attitude about it and got someone else involved to take over ourtable. My friends bill came out to 250 and they had the AUDACITY to charge us an automatic 20% tip that wasn?t deserved. I wouldnever recommend this place to anyone.
