best pizza in the area! not sure why people on facebook are saying they are under new ownership, they definitely aren't.
I love trying new places out but Santonis will always be my preferred pizzeria. Always enjoyed the food and of course the pizza.... I ordered a jalapeno pizza, my personal preference I'd like it a bit spicier maybe more seeds? But that's just my own experienceand I still enjoyed it lots. I?ve always loved their pizza! So today we ordered pizza, and a sausage and pepper hero. Ladies and gentlemen, I must say that... the sausage and pepper hero was the absolute gold standard! In all my years eating this kind sandwich from all other places,this was the absolute BEST I?ve ever had. The meat which they did not skimp on was spread throughout the entire bread leaving nodry areas. And it was DELICIOUS! The ratio of meat and onions, peppers and sauce was perfect. Ordered two pizza pies, a grandma with extra sauce and crispy and another being a vegetable pizza. Both tasted great my... favorite was def the grandma because of the sauce distinct flavor and chunky plum tomatoes ????. As for the vegetables pizza itis very limited in choices which I did mention to gentlemen on the front desk (AWSOME guy, very welcoming and kind). I choseolives, green peppers, jalapeño, mushrooms ???? and extra sauce. Pizza topping they were not cheap with the veggies for sure ($2 per topping). I do recommend them adding maybe more veggie options and cheese to on top of the veggies. Very good crisp onboth. I definitely would order again. Grandma ???? for sure. Great guys there. I got disappointed with my Last order of chicken ?wings? or should I say ?Chicken NECKS?. ???? Update 11/11/2022: I?ve been a... customer for many year as a Garfield resident and I continued ordering Chicken wings even after my bad luck with my wing orders,but when I placed the order I added a note to remind them not to give necks. I don?t do this as a joke as one of the cashiersgot mad at me about the order note and my bad review. He told me that they are a Pizzeria and why I would keep ordering wings.So why are they selling chicken wings. If they sell chicken wings and it comes with necks they probably should add in the menuwings and necks. I would think when you order something from the menu you should receive what you order rather than some randomcombination of things. They could?ve replied to my review and fix the issue but they didn?t. It is bad that they treat thecustomers like that. Read more
