It's a great place for sandwiches, Italian deli meats and cheeses, and fresh bread and pastries. I would recommend avoiding... ordering any hot food items on site since it takes about 30min or more each time I've gone and takes effort on your part to makesure they haven't forgotten your order. Call ahead if you have the time, otherwise, stick to the cold sandwiches and ready-madeoptions. The torpedo is well deserving of their most popular sandwich title, they usually have them ready to-go, so get that andavoid ordering hot sandwiches at the counter unless you've got 30+min to spare! The Torrance location is not nearly as good. Try it! This place is amazing. A little Italian grocery store and restaurant together. They have some of the best baked bread and... cannolis I've ever had. This place has a deli, Bakery, pizzeria, has cheeses, wines, patisserie, this place has got it all. I ordered a personal pizza,... a meatball sandwich and a corned beef sandwich. The pizza was crispy crust, full flavor cheese and a nice delicate sauce. Thecorned beef was tender and flavorful. I got the tiramisu and it was light and sweet but not too sweet.
