Place was very warm and welcoming. As for the ramen, i wasn?t entirely impressed. For me it was 7/10. The broth is great but the... add ons are very expensive. I?ve been to locations with great everything for less the price. I really enjoyed the banana eggroll, it was phenomenal! I don?t think I?d come back here again, but it was a great experience to say the least. Read more

First impression coming here was, "wow, the line in this restaurant is ridiculous! Their food must be amazing!" Well, it didn't... disappoint to be honest! I really enjoyed their food. The customer service in shin-sen-Gumi are very special. They are soenergetic and are always attentive! ???? Anyways, their ramen was actually worth the hype! I like how you could customize theramen from noodle hardness, to the oil level, what you want in your ramen. ???? You just can't not love the ramen here! I wouldrecommend adding some kind of paste for added flavor. My favorite is the spicy miso (curry paste is not bad as well). Overall,if you have the patience to wait for a savory ramen bowls (like an hour wait, especially when you are coming here for dinner),then please give this restaurant a try! You will fall in love! I tried the Spicy Dandan and love it. The wait was not too long and staff were friendly.

Had such a delicious bowl of Hakata Ramen! If you like hot spice, add a side of Diablo (made with Carolina Reaper), it is... fire!! They have delicious bite-sized Gyoza, too! Read more

First of all, the service here was super friendly and welcoming! Love the way they greet their customers. The servers were also... very attentive and quick to bring us our food. We got the eel over rice, hakata ramen (thick base and heavy oil) which wasreally tasty. Also added an egg and pork belly to the ramen because how could one not?! The misubi did not disappoint either.Overall very solid establishment and would definitely revisit. Read more

Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity to sieze the best Ramen in LA, in one meal. Would you eat here, or just let it... slip? That was me. I only had one meal remaining in LA before my flight back home. I wanted it to be Ramen. So I began myresearch for the best Ramen in LA. I checked Google Maps, Yelp, Eater LA, Google results. I wasn't going to accept a _great_Ramen. I would only settle for a STELLAR Ramen. Our extensive and intensive research landed us here at Shin-Sen-Gumi. I had thehighest of expectations, and it did meet them. The Ramen was delicious, generously flavorful, with bunch of customizabletoppings to suit your needs and taste. The pork slices and additional pork dumplings I ordered were both amazing. We also got 2types of flavor balls/bombs from their menu, and both were a hit. Made the Ramen even tastier. They also have bells on eachtable to call the staff. First time I saw it in any restaurant. Makes it very convenient. The service was quick, efficient,no-frills. You can join the restaurant waitlist from yelp, so do that before you arrive. Read more

Would recommend this place for some good ramen. It's not out of this world hence the 4 stars but they have good quality service... and lot of options. My favorite meat was their pork cutlet. I would recommend signing up on the waitlist for Yelp ahead of timeas the wait can get long and sometimes they close the list early before close if it gets too long. Read more

This place is one of the more popular ramen restaurants in the South Bay. It is pretty decent when it comes to flavor and... price. There are also a lot of add-on toppings that you can choose from. I ordered their lunch special with a curryrice????????. The restaurant is not my ultimate favorite in the area, but it's up there. Read more
