Reviews for Bowl Thai in Gardena, CA
Bowl Thai calls itself a "simple kitchen" and it's in fact a simple kitchen in the best sense possible. Straight forward menu... with grilled plates, salads, and some of your classic Thai noodle dishes. We had the satay chicken and marinated chicken thighgrilled to juicy tasty perfection. Grilled plates comes with side salad. I'm not a super spicy eater, so ordering mild upfront makes my meal so much more enjoyable. Will definitely go back to try their noodle and ???? dishes. Went to this Thai spot with my family and it was the week Los Angeles had a week of a heat wave, it was ridiculously HOT, no AC... only a small door open and no air coming in. We where just very uncomfortable and we were just trying so hard to eat as quicklyas possible to get out of there. The food is okay however it doesn?t have much of a variety. We will never be going back thereagain. Read more
Very decent Thai spot in a very diverse strip mall. The parking in the back can get real busy so order ahead if you?re picking... up. They give you an option of how spicy you want your food which is great. Everything seems fresh. Shrimp fried rice was reallyyummy and wasn?t too greasy. Chicken Pad See ew was fantastic and tasty. Pineapple curry with rice was good. Read more
It's been hit or miss finding good places to get pick up during this pandemic. We've ordered a few times from here both pre and... during COVID and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Please support them! The food is delicious, the staff friendly andcourteous and the food is ready within 20 minutes. The place is very clean (and all white walls so you can see if they missedany spots when cleaning) and they only allow one person to order in at a time and ask you to wait outside while they'repreparing your food so I never felt over crowded or unsafe here. I tried the Ka-Na Moo-Krob and the pork was nice and crunchy. They were able to remove the egg from the Pad See Ew because of dietary allergies. The Pad Thai is consistently delicious - notsure if I prefer the chicken or beef Pad Thai. This most recent time they'd run out of Shrimp for the Basil Fried Rice but thePork was a good substitute. The price is always decent for the portion size so definitely worth checking out! Read more
