Today I was off from work and I was craving really good Italian food. I was in need of some really good comfort food and boy did... I find it. The chicken Parmigiana was a blast to my taste buds. ????. I was happy from my mouth to my brain and down to mystomach. We also bought the meatballs in a boat. Whoa! Okay so a family member brought us to Capparelli's for dinner as we are in town visiting and this is a favorite of hers. Quaint... and very nice setting. We arrived for dinner and the place was nearly packed with diners. We were seated immediately and wereasked for our drink orders. Our server was the nicest and tolerated my dear husband's Dad jokes and more then took ourorder. Soon she brought our salads and bread which were included in our entrees. Our family member ordered the senior FettucineAlfredo with chicken. My husband ordered the Veal Parmigiana and I ordered a Calamari appetizer and the Angel Hair pasta in abutter and garlic sauce. Oh goodness, the size of the servings was huge. The food was wonderful, and we will be having repeatsof this lovely meals for a day or more since we had to ask for to-go containers. There was no way we could have eaten all thatfood in one setting. My regret was that we were so busy visiting and then overwhelmed with the amount of food - I completelyforgot to get pictures and I am a picture taking foodie. Amazing!!! Read more

A wonderful dining experience!! My wife and I have found new favorite Italian restaurant and it's close to home!! Who knew?!! ... The service was excellent and the food?!!! OMG!!! We got the 16 inch Supreme Pizza!!! Talk about bag for your buck!! Yesplease!!! I was never wanting for aby of the ingredients listed in the description. Of course we couldn't finish it, but we getto enjoy the rest at home. Oh yes, and we took home a slice of cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Unfortunately it didn't lastlong enough for a picture. This place is the cutest little neighborhood hot spot. Definitely a place you'll see someone you know. My husband has been going... here since 1998 and it's kept its charm. Today we had side salads and the tomato bread for appetizers. The red wine vinegardressing is soo good on the tomato bread. J got eggplant parmesan with rigatoni, and I got the cheese ravioli that comes with ahuge meatball. The meatball was absolutely the best thing on the table. Overall Capparelli's is a great local place for a quiettable and good food at a really great price. Read more
