As someone who was vegetarian for 16 years, this place stands out to me as one of the TOP vegetarian restaurants I?ve ever been... to. All of their dishes are amazingly priced with portions that are generous. Flavors are vibrant and ingredients are alwaysfresh. No wonder this place has a wait most of the time. Go check this place out, you won?t regret it! :)) Read more

Stumbled upon the restaurant when looking for vegetarian food for lunch in Orange in Google maps. A Vietnamese Vegan Restaurant... with a large menu. The seating was quick and service fast. The place is small located in a strip mall but clean and wellmaintained. I ordered the BBQ spicy lemongrass chicken and curry noodle . The Chicken rice dish was good. Curry noodle was ok.The menu is large , so will be visiting the restaurant again. Read more

6/2022-Delicious vegetarian dishes Viet style and you wouldn't even realize it's veggie it's that good! Staff are hardworking... and friendly; 11/2019-This place is a hidden gem amongst the locals for excellent vegetarian Vietnamese dishes. Don't let itshumble exterior deceive you nestled in a humdrum strip mall across from a much newer and bigger counterpart. It gets very busyduring the lunch hour but their friendly servers are very knowledgeable and patient especially for the occasional vegetarian ornon-Vietnamese patron. Everything is a delicious vegetarian version of a traditional Vietnamese dish. Parking can get verycrowded and cramped especially in the two long aisles but it's worth the small inconvenience. Reasonably priced dishes and many to choose from. We ordered a Pho Hoa Sen, claypot rice, BBq Spring roll and Veggie Beef... noodle soup. The soup got Pho was not as flavorful as other vegetarian pho I have tired before. But the claypot rice wasamazing. The sauce combination was perfect to bring out the smokey taste of the rice. Note: They do charge for hot tea, only$1. Read more

Best vegan food that I've had in Southern California so far! It's definitely not the best decor or dining experience, but the... food is just amazing. The clay pot rice and lotus salad, in particular, were standouts. The flavors and quality of theingredients were excellent. We were actually hoping to go to Au Lac, but it is closed on Mondays so we wound up here. We aresure glad that we did. Read more

This place changed my perspective on vegetarian restaurants. Easily recommendation from me! Used to always be a proud meathead... but had a respect for vegetarian/vegan restaurants as I believed they had to be good to be around. After giving Hoa Sen a trywith some friends, I realised that meat isn't always the best thing in a meal. Almost every single order I've had here has beena smash. The Happy Hoa Sen salad is usually a staple when I go with friends to share. Vegetarian food already feels light ingeneral but this was a great refresher between bites. The Com Dap is a comforting crunchy-ish rice dish that feels like a surehit with anyone indecisive. The claypot rice is my favourite meal here for sure, reminding me of an amazing rice and mushroomdish at a now closed tapas restaurant. These two rice dishes come with their own sauces if I remember right that absolutelychange the way the meal tastes, and not just like adding soy sauce. The house special fried rice is a nice familiar staple forthose less adventurous, and it's impressive that there's even vegetarian pork floss! The Mi Xao Gion isn't much to write aboutthough, as I'm not much of a mi xao person. The servers are all very nice and friendly, with the restaurant making good use ofspace although on the cozier side. The food doesn't crank out fast but you won't be waiting too long. Read more

One of my favorite Vietnamese vegetarian restaurants! I've tried many dishes at this restaurant and they are all made with good... quality ingredients. You see Buddhist monks and nuns here so you know the vegetarian food is good. My go-to dishes are: Bun BoHue, Com Tay Cam, Nem Nuong, Bun Rieu. The service is fast and friendly. Check them out!
