I don't know how this place survives in such a poor location. I've never had a bad sandwich from here. Their burgers are... exceptional! My top three choices, in order, are the Cuban, hamburger, and the Philly cheese steak. But the tuna and capicollaare equally amazing. Read more
The food was okay. I got the Philly Cheesesteak with wiz. They put the wiz on the bun and not on top of the meat so I had to ask... for them for extra cheese. Instead of bringing me a side of cheese they took my sandwich back to the kitchen to add the cheese.I just found that a little odd. I got the wiz on the side for my daughter and when she asked for extra Wiz they took the littlecup from her and refilled it I guess they're trying to not have extra dishes. My daughter found a hair in her food and then webrought it to the manager's attention they tried to explain it away instead of just comping the sandwich. Now the bad part. Thecustomer service is just not there. The girl that took the order was aloof and when asked what kind of oil they use for theirFrench fries answered with it's the same oil used to fry everything. They never once came to check on us unless they saw megetting up to come see them. We did not feel welcomed. All in all this place was not worth the $38 we paid the eat there. I willnot be back! Love this place. So good. Like a local secret. Great food, great service. Lots of tasty sandwiches made with care. We like the... French dip, meatball, Italian with, and the BLT. The crab fries (seasoned french fries) are addicting. I love the wings with theseasoned rub and your choice of sauce on the side. On Fridays they have the best fish and chips... and we?ve eaten them inEngland! The fish is a nice, big, crispy, meaty piece served malt vinegar and tartar sauce. My husband and I have been eating at Bite of Jersey for years. The food is very good; however, the manager is not very... friendly 1 star for him. 4 stars for food and help. In my opinion if you have a long time customer maybe you might want to benicer. I have struggled with this for a while. He can barely mutter hello when we come in. Last straw yesterday when Ibrought my dog sitter and my dog in the stroller. Ordered food to take to my husband in memory care. I got the OK to bringthe dog in as we were ordering to go. Then the owner comes out and very inappropriately rude tells me to take the dogoutside. I don't have a problem with taking the dog outside. I do have a problem the way he angrily addressed it. Then Iheard him yelling at the girl who works there. I have seen this for years there and you never should discipline employees infront of your customers. The girl that works there is great Claudia.
