They increased the price $1 only 4 months ago, and I just visited their store for a pickup order and realized they’ve... increased the price $1 more again. All within half a year $2+ increase. Today’s visit disappointed me. From the staff tellingme I have to choose 5 different toppings and I can’t repeat a topping when they’ve always done that. Then the oshinko is dryand there is no pickle juice from biting into it, this must have been there for more than a day or two ! I ended up getting foodpoisoning from the lack of freshness in the food Their poke is fresh quality and big portions. They recently increased the priceof both portions by $1. Reason it’s a 4 star rating is because in the city you can get the same portions for a little less, PF(2 proteins) $14.95 vs pokeworks $13.95; PF (3 proteins) $16.95 vs pokeworks $16.50. It would only make sense for Poke Friséeto charge less than the poke locations in Manhattan. Besides that, this is a great poke spot, great quality, great atmosphere &have the options of Hawaiian drinks which are offered in Pokeworks locations. Back again for my once a week poke bowl. I have never left a review before but I had to for this place. I LITERALLY come here... once a week since 2020 from Whitestone, Queens just for their bowls. It’s always so fresh the portions are perfect and theirsauce flavors I can’t get anywhere else. The staff is always so friendly and I’m happy they have added a rewards systemseeing as I come here whenever I go into Long Island. Delicious poke bowl. I think the prices are reasonable as well. I bought a bowl, and it was so big I saved it for later ??.... Everything is fresh and tasty. The staff was super nice as well. I didn’t understand why people didn’t use the self-servicepapers at the door. It is way faster than standing and telling the staff what you want. Read more
Compared to other poke places in the area, Poke Frisée is the probably the most expensive and has the smallest portion. But... they taste the best and I like that I can see the ingredients behind the counter. Employees aren’t too friendly. Read more
Tried this place for lunch and food is ok but pricey. The poke bowl was close to $20 and dumplings we order was charged $8 for... 10 pieces. The dumplings are not made fresh, it tasted frozen and steamed when ordered. The bowl is good content with fresh fishand toppings. The service is fast but all the older Asian women behind the counter are just grumpy and rude. You feel like theyjust want to chop you up and take your money! I wanted something fresh and different and this is where I landed and I’m very glad I did. Biggest poke bowl I’ve had made... for me but don’t be fooled because the price justifies the size. Wished for better selection of beverages but that’s apersonal opinion. They have yummy açaí bowls and many options to make your poke bowl just amazing. Good seating area indoorand outside.
