Came here with the family on a Saturday afternoon and was very happy with our meals! Big portions, not so big prices.

I ordered the crab salad and shrimp enchiladas and they were really fishy. Too fishy to eat. Beans and rice were okay. My... favorites were the stuffed jalapenos and the queso dip. I loved the atmosphere, and our server was great too! Next time I'm inthere for lunch I won't order any of the seafood. And I'm not against trying other items on their menu. Read more

Love the service and the people. Amazing and sweet. The prices are decent. My only weird experience is the enchilada sauce.... Tastes off and they tried to remedy it. Though I wasn't sure if it was a different sauce they may have given me at first thenasked for a side of regular enchilada sauce and it was the same. They may have overdone it with cumin but tastes very cinnamonlike. And left me with a stomach ache. Had my friend try it and they too could also taste the oddness. Will be back though ???? Read more

Great street tacos! I always dread going to family style Mexican restaurants, you usually pay more for a basic boring taco with... a plate full of filler. But, this place has delicious and well priced tacos. About $2 a piece with many meats. Chorizo looked sogood I ate one before I got my phone out for the pic. Cabeza and carnitas were hood, chorizo was great- but the Al Pastor wereso good I had to but 3 more. Amazing Al Pastor tacos. Tortillas and salsa verde were both great. Nothing lacking. Read more

First time here. This place is on it! Sat down and within 60 seconds I had some hot tortilla chips, salsa and a drink in front... of me. We decided to try a restaurant we had never Been to and we wanted Mexican. We decided on El Gallo Giro on Gary lane in Garden... City. We received a nice greeting from a very shy girl . We were able to choose our table. The menu is pretty big so we neededtime to choose. So we ordered drinks.I got a classic Margarita. It was very generous on the alcohol content and one of the bestI have had in the area. I ordered a taco salad. I asked for Shrimp instead of beef or chicken. The waitress brought our foodand it was decorative and delicious. They did charge an additional $2.00 for the shrimp but they were large and delicious andthe taco shell was real.
