We arrived at 6:25 with a group of seven people, all hoping for a glass of wine. We had been hoping to visit Cinder for weeks... and we were very excited. They refused to serve us anything because they closed at 7. I have never been to a place in Boise orreally anywhere that was unwilling to serve a group of excited people 35 minutes before they closed. They didn’t even start toask what we would want. We could have shared one bottle of wine? We could have purchased a case of wine. They could have offeredany number of solutions or helpful words. Instead, they just said they were done serving for the night. I’ve never experiencedcustomer service like that and I was very surprised and frustrated by it. I’m used to places who care a bit more for theircustomers and who try to make visiting a great experience. We won’t be going back because we expected more and we would getmore anywhere else. My friends and I arrived at 6:25 pm on a Friday, and apparently that’s too late to be poured a glass of wine, when they close... at 7. We were turned away and refused service. Worst service I’ve ever experienced, will not be going back there. Read more
Our favorite! Had such a wonderful time! Wine was best we've had out of 3 wineries here. The people were fun and helpful.
Stopped in for wine tasting tonight. Staff is so awesome! Super nice and knowledgeable about their wines. During the week it's... a smaller crowd and you tend to get a personalized tasting. I'm a wine member but do not live in the state. But 80% of my winescome from Cinder! I enjoy their wines that much!! If you never been it's well worth going! You will become a fan! ???????????? Excellent wine, nice open seating area, safiyyah was amazing!!! Be that as it may the bar stools are horrible. Not comfortable... to sit in. I stood the entire time. So did other people. The chairs literally only fit one butt cheek.... and they are ugly. Fix that and earn another star. Nice new bar stools you earned another star!! Read more
Always a fun atmosphere, great tasting ciders, beer and wines. If I can had an endless cup of kuckleberry cider.... mmmmmm
The staff is knowledgeable beyond something akin to a downtown Boise wine spot, has character and is one of the finest ambiances... in Boise. Take a night to truly enjoy a hidden Garden City gem. Read more
