Came by on a Saturday night around 8pm with my family. There was literally one other table being occupied in the building and... good, because seating is limited. We ordered the calamari, the golden mango roll, the shrimp tempura roll, chicken pad Thai andchicken and steak hibachi. My partner ordered the hibachi and was given a small side salad w ginger dressing, a bowl of roomtemperature miso soup and then two rangoons and a spring roll with it. The sushi was good. My pad Thai was good, a little on thesweet side though, not a bad flavor though, would have loved to have tasted some more spices and flavors in it. Partner said hisHibachi meal could have been bigger. Overall, I’d rate them a 3.5 because while it wasn’t a bad experience, there’s stillsome room for improvement. The waitress was very sweet, prices were good but I kept having to get up and ask other employees forstuff because for us to be one of two tables in the building, we didn’t really see her much. Also, when I finally got a refillof my sweet tea, I took a huge gulp of loose tea grounds. I brought it up with the grounds I spit in a napkin to let someoneknow and he just starred at me as if there was nothing else that could be done. I wanted tea but I just asked for a waterinstead. Not sure how this place got almost a 5 star rating, they must have a very loyal customer base or something. I did,however, enjoy their hot sake. We had a wonderful, quiet, quick and delicious dinner here. Free parking right in front of the restaurant made for an easy in... and out. The menu includes appetizers, sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, and hibachi-style entrees, and the prices are very reasonablefor this kind of food: $17 average entrée price. I had the shrimp and my companion had the steak hibachi entrees with friedrice. The meat was well prepared, the veggies were fresh, and the fried rice had a good flavor. The salad and soup that camewith dinner were very good. In fact, the soup broth was outstanding, as was the hot tea. I think this is a family ownedestablishment, and I am very happy we found it. It was ok. But not worth the 25$ i paid. My steak was over cooked, tough and chewy. My California roll says cooked on the... website which i was expecting to be fried... when i received my rolls it was was not fried. I called and asked about them beingfried and was told it's an extra 3$. That made me chuckle. I simply won't be back and i just don't recommend. The soup was notgreat either. Our family dined in and also, the ultimate test . . . We ordered carry out! 5 Stars all the way! Our dining experience was... wonderful. Service was extremely warm and friendly. The sushi tasted fresh and was delicious. Hot sake paired perfectly.Presentation was beautiful and well done. Our carry out order a few days later, still upheld the flavor, freshness, andpresentation we received when we dined in. Consistency!
