Reviews for One Log House in Garberville, CA
Definitely a unique experience. It's a 32 foot long log turned into a travel trailer, that found its new home in the redwood... forest. Read more
We stopped here to see the One-Log House, not to visit the cafe or dispensary. Buy tickets ($2 per person) at the snack bar... counter. Your ticket will have a code to enter the house. It's unstaffed, so you can take all the time you want. Note that thiswas built as an exhibit; I don't think anyone ever actually lived here. But we still found it really interesting and aworthwhile stop, partly because it's a mid-20th century time capsule. Read more
Lovely place to stop. Plenty of amazing things to look at. Gift shop, cafe, dispensary all in one.
The food and service were as we have come to expect. Professional and courteous throughout. The food was very good and the tea... hit the spot. The only fly in the ointment was trying to charge us for WiFi. I don't understand it, and I never will. Read more
We past by at night????, but we took a few pictures, would of loved to seen it in the day????
Really neat place, definitely worth the stop. They have a shop with snacks, drinks and a little deli. There's also a shop next... door with all sorts of souvenirs and redwood carvings. Make sure to check out the grandfather tree! Read more
This was a very cool place. My husband and I pulled over because we saw the log house. I wanted a picture of it and then I saw a... sign LOL that said that there was a big store there for cannabis ( pot) there are edibles and it's in Humboldt county so theweed is probably very good. There's a consumption lounge that's at the back of the log house. It was funny except that I thoughtif people are getting stoned back there are they going to get in their car? To the left of the place is a really neat shop forsouvenirs Bigfoot items anything made from wood it's got a great big grandfather tree that is just amazing and you need to stopand see it. The prices and the gift shop aren't outrageous. Also if you want to stop at the pot shop next door and get somethingto take home, cool! do it! I don't partake but you know more power to you if you do LOL Read more
I went into what I thought was the gift shop, it was next to log home, but it was actually a dispensary. I would never drive... Hwy 101 again unless I had to. I wish I could of seen inside of log home, but have no idea where the code was, and I wasn't theonly one.... another couple asked if I figured out how to get inside? But did see Grand father tree a little ways away. Thisplace seemed like we were trespassing. Read more
