I am a hibachi addict. I have ONE place I go to back in NC and when I moved to MD I was very disappointed in the suggesting... people were giving me for hibachi. Then I stumbled on Otani- it is slightly on the pricier side but it?s worth it. I always getmore food than I can eat, both on the lunch special and the dinner portion. Steak is ALWAYS delicious along with the veggiesthat come with it. I have probably ordered from Otani 10+ times since living here and ate at the location once, and have neverbeen disappointed. Plus, the yum yum sauce is AMAZING. If you are looking for a hibachi place this is the place to go. Read more

Love their Playboy, Poseidon, and tuna salmon cake. I go there often, best sushi in town!

Food was absolutely delicious, drinks were excellent and everything came to our table very quickly. Service was excellent, our... waitress was very kind and answered all of our questions. If I had to make any complaint it would be we had way way too littleof the wasabi and ginger that comes with sushi and way too little dressing that came with our salad, which is too bad because weabsolutely love that dressing. Other than that the place was really great. My family and I would definitely dine there again. Read more

We got their Tri Color and Chirashi to eat and the lycheetini. The fish tasted so fresh, they season their rice with furikake i... believe and it blends together so well. For drinks i definitely recommend the lycheetini, we couldn?t get enough of it! Read more

The best Japanese restaurant. My favorite dish is the playboy rolls. It?s a family owned restaurant. Very friendly staff, high... quality food with reasonable price. Everything I?ve tried was really good. Read more

Really wanted to like this place. Went with someone who was a regular, so the service was great, but unfortunately the food... didn't match. We ordered some Miso Soup, which was very good, and two specialty rolls, the Valentine roll and the Playboy roll. The Playboy roll is presented flambé style, wrapped in foil, and on fire. Once the flame is extinguished, the foil is openedand the roll is served warm. Sadly the flavors and freshness were lacking. The Wasabi looked like old avocado, with a brownishappearance, and the ginger was dry, like they both had been sitting out for hours. The rolls themselves were falling apart asyou picked them up. Maybe they just had an off day, but the rolls really disappointing. Read more

The Playboy Roll was delicious! I?ll be coming back again for that one. I liked the Poseidon Roll as well but I?m more into... tempura than fresh tuna, so the Playboy was the winner for me. The service was great too - quick and attentive. Read more

My favorite sushi spot in this area. Very nice quality sushi and very flavorful. Not overly heavy on the rice. Their miso soup... has enoki mushrooms which is great! Also nice wisdom on my green tea mug. Would recommend this place, and have brought visitors.Plenty of parking in the plaza out front. Read more
