Reviews for Suki Poke by the Sea in Galveston, TX
First off, everyone was so nice and friendly. Second, the poke bowls were a very good size and had a good portion of fish which... is a very nice change. I will say that mine was missing some of the sauces I had checked off but it was still very good. Read more
Large bento box that came with soup as well. The batter on the tofu was quite thick and wasn?t crispy but the flavor was good.... There?s lots of other menu items that I would go back and try! Read more
We ordered two poke bowls, both which came with miso soup, and Thai milk tea. Everything was pretty good. The portion of the... double trouble poke bowl was almost twice as much as the triple tuna poke bowl. The seating area was extremely clean. I didn?tfind it to be a mind blowing experience, but I?d definitely go back or recommend to someone if they were looking for fresh pokeon the island Read more
Very good place for a filling lunch! The bowls are great and are packed with flavor as well as the sushi! The boba tea and... smoothies are pretty good as well. Over all a really great place and I will be coming back soon! Read more
I ordered food in the store. I ordered the honey miso salmon donburi. I received a fried shrimp donburi. Very disappointed in... my food after getting all the way back to the west side of the island and sitting down to eat. I contacted them by email and wastold they hadn't had salmon in about a year. I was told to check the current menu on the website. How friendly. I would think itwould be current in the restaurant. When I ordered, I wasn't informed that salmon wasn't available. I wasn't offered a receipteither, or I'd have seen the order. If I had been, I could have pointed out the outdated menu they had posted. I didn't wantfried food, but I guess it doesn't matter. Their response made it sound like I was trying to order something they used to have, but this was my first time there. Apparently I was making stuff up for my order. Probably my last visit because I felt like Iwasted $50. Epic dinner fail. The shrimp wasn't worth $18..it tasted like SeaPak brand, which is okay, but a box costs less than$18. Update 04/30/2022 I'm changing my rating to 4???? because they contacted me again and acknowledged the oddity in the menu.To me it's not so much what happened, but how it was handled. They offered to make it right and I'll go back and try somethingelse when I'm in the area next week. Who knows, it might be a 5????? after my next visit. Read more
Dined in on a busy Friday night during Spring Break. Got there about an hour before closing and the place was packed. The line... went fairly quick but the wait time to get food was a tad slow and the Food came out staggered over the course of 40 minutesmaybe it?s supposed to be that way? Unsure because we weren?t told that. Maybe they were just not staffed to handle the mealprep that day. The food was good. Very cleanly plated and tasty. Decent value for the cost. 3 people came out to be about $60. 4rolls, 3 drinks, 1 entree + tip. Read more

I will admit that I don't typically have ANY issues when I order here. And if there is an issue, its something easliy... overlooked. Today I had seafood rice and poppin shrimp. The shrimp was amazing and the rice is USUALLY good. Unfortunatelytoday, I guess they decided to use old rice. After taking SEVERAL spoonfuls of rice and having to pick out crunchy, hard, possibly overcooked pieces. I attempted to cal them. I have currently been on hold for 14 and a half minutes. While theatmosphere is not exactly inviting, I did expect better service. Read more
