Over-rated. Prime rib was tough and over/under cooked. Baked potato wasn't done. My first bite was a big glob of cold butter.... Salad and bread were okay. The waitress was very nice and good. Third star is for her. Read more
Cozy bar with great food. Good amount of TVs - a few were out of sync with each other which was kind of confusing and the TV... over the bar had a pretty bad viewing angle. Bartender was very nice and attentive. Read more
Absolutely the worst service you?ll ever receive. I sat at the bar and the bartender looked me in the eye but instead of a... greeting and a drink order she walked away to tell her funny story to the 2 guys that weren?t interested. Food is mediocre atbest. I kinda want to work here so I can give Zero Fukks and still get paid. Stay away! Read more
Holy moly frijoles y'all, you GOTTA stop here for the coldest beer on the island! Been in here several times & never left hungry... either. Nachos a mile high on the plate, Ruben sandwhich thick as your arm, hamburgers as big as your face! And did I mentionthe beer is so dang cold you'll wanna glove to hold it! Last time I went Cindy was the tender & she was so nice & funny, gave alittle history about the bar too. Press Box is only a couple blocks from The Strand & the drinks are half the price as the barsthere, food...a quarter of those prices. Step off the fancy strand a few blocks, you won't regret it. This place offers strong cocktails & great food. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of most places downtown but it doesn't... need it. Sometimes you want to enjoy the local vibe & it's definitely here. Read more

One of my favorite local dive bar and restaurant on the Island! My out of town guest always request to go here! All the... bartenders are friendly and great here! Tonight I did a Wedge Salad which was plentiful! My favorite is the Club sandwich andTatar Tots which can be shared! If you want a low-key relaxed local environment, then stop by The Press Box!
