We decided to stop at Benno's Cajun Seafood since they had really good reviews online and the food looked really good in the... pictures. Well the pictures were absolutely correct. Food was great! We ordered the cajun grilled seafood platter and catfish fillet platter and were definitely impressed! Tons of great cajun... seasoning and the red seasoned potatoes underneath were to die for. The wait was very long and don't expect a standard sit downand dine restaurant-you stand in line to order and take your cup for refills but don't let that deter you! It was definitelyworth the wait. Fried fish was delicious! Battered and fried perfectly. Cajun grilled shrimp was very good. Thought it would be spicier but was... very good. Comes with some seasoned potatoes. Which were delicious as well. Cold boil shrimp is not on the menu but wasavailable and was good. Serving sizes were pretty big. Outside patio seating with a nice view of the water. Food is good, hot and fresh. No blue crabs, which is what I went for, but everyone else must love them too. They forgot my bread... pudding, but Mrs Mary Jane assured us she would be there and provide on our next visit. There will definitely be a next visit,therefore no worries. Read more
