I have dined in and called in pick up orders. Always excellent food. Pleasant staff eager to help. Sure some of the staff are... not as experienced. Don't forget they are mostly young and some of them it's their first job. Give them a chance they are tryingand going to school in most cases. Manager is doing a great job. We had the JustSpud with cheddar, sour cream and butter and the roast beef spud with au juis. We both had water and bill was... just less than $20. As you may know they are two potatoes, joined together. So, plenty of food...plenty of cheese. About 1tablespoon of sour cream. The butter pallets, (kudos for real butter) we about 1/2 tsp per serving and two servings each. I likea little potato with my butter!! My potato serving was very dry, then I remembered they didn't give me side of au juis? When Iasked, they said they poured it on the potato. That thang was dusty dry! Waiting in line 15 minutes order, expecting to have to wait at least 30 minutes to get my food due to staffing shortages signs... around the restaurant. Okay, I understand, things are hard right now. But, after waiting in line for 15 minutes, I asked toorder a potato and they state that they don't have any. This is the second time I have tried coming to this restaurant to eat,and both times I have been told that either the wait was going to be very long or they didn't have any potatoes. In the grandscheme of things this doesn't seem like a big issue, it's just very frustrating to want to try to support a restaurant and theykeep disappointing you time after time. Read more
The food was fresh and I enjoyed my club sandwich but the wait was lengthy even after pre-ordering my food online. The drive... thru is pick up order only, you must place orders inside or online. One downside is there's no way to use gift cards for paymentonline. They only offer credit card payments and promo codes. The place was relatively packed for 10:30AM on a Sunday. This review is going to be lengthy, but well worth the read if you?re thinking about going to this McAlister?s (in Gallatin,... TN). My mom and I went here for lunch, super excited because I was craving it and it had been a minute since we?ve had it. Firstoff, there are way too many young people working there that don?t obviously care about customer service because it wasunpleasant from the time we walked in until we left. Finally, after someone decided to take our order, I ordered a grilledchicken club and stated no ham and pork AT ALL, I?m highly allergic with a side and water. My mom ordered the ?New Yorker?.Well, after sitting down, we noticed the service was very SLOW. There were many customers whom ordered before us and wereseated, but had not gotten their food yet. For a deli shop like this, the food shouldn?t take a long time to come out, I mean,it?s sandwiches, soups, salads, etc., We waited a very long time for our food, but didn?t leave since we were already seated andmy mom had already paid. Once we received our food, my sandwich had BACON everywhere on it, and my mom?s sandwich wasn?t whatshe ordered AT ALL. We?re both highly allergic to pork and we don?t know what sandwich they had given her, but it definitelywasn?t corned beef on marbled rye bread. Well, after sending the orders back, came another disappointment. They brought the samegrilled chicken club back to me with a few bacon pieces taken off, and the sandwich still HAD BACON. They didn?t remake the sandwhich, they just plucked a few pieces off and sent it back to me and I?m PREGNANT! New location in Gallatin! GREAT SERVICE & FOOD! Ordered online through the app and it was ready when I got to the pickup window!... I think the manager was working the window and he was very nice and we talked about how come the online has been down since thegrand opening. I?m glad they have been able to get everything worked out, I told him I know what they have been going through myhusband can?t even get computers repaired or replaced right now at his job. Read more
This is a new location as of 2022. So it's in great shape and nice and clean. My New Yorker sandwich was delightful. Honestly... more meat than I would even put on a sandwich so it was a very generous serving size. The tea was great as always. My husbanddid a pick two and unfortunately his sandwich was slightly smaller then either of us expected but still tasted good. Read more
The food is seriously delicious. The portions are what I feel they should be for the price. Other restaurants could take notes... on Mcalister's when it comes to that. The food tastes fresh and is satisfying. The value is pretty unbeatable in this area in myopinion. Everyone I've encountered that works there has been nice and pleasant. Only down side is that they need to pick up thepace. The previous reviews who mentioned this are correct in that it takes way too long for you to get your food. I have wentthere 6 times for lunch in the past 2 almost 3 weeks because they're right beside my work and they are too delicious not to get.5 out of those 6 times either my order was somewhat wrong (asked for no mayo, received lots of mayo), they had a 4 car line atthe pick up window with no one there to help (with the line not moving at all for 10 minutes), or when I decided to go ininstead they made my food and forgot to tell me it was ready. That time I went in, at the next table I had another lady waitingin front of me to receive her food. We waited 15 minutes, she got up and stated she had to go back to work, I also mentioned Ineeded my food too as I also had to get back to work. They came out and handed her her food and asked if she wanted them toremake it because it was sitting there for a while and had gotten cold. She ended taking it and hurried out the door.
