Reviews for Grant's Kitchen and Grill in Gallatin, TN
The food is fine based on prior dine in experiences. Tonight...a Thursday...Grant's website indicated they were open until 8:30... pm so I went in to place a take out order at 8:15. The doors were open but the young workers had pulled all the food, were ontheir phones, and said they were closed. A bit frustrating when posted hours are not accurate or if the workers started closingprocedures early to get a jump on leaving. Just to get ahead of the curve on the the owner response...this is SINCEREconstructive feedback because there is opportunity to, hopefully, retrain this crew to work until the posted closing time. Ifthe goal is for workers to leave by 8:30...the restaurant should probably post an 8:00 pm closing time (rather than 8:30) socustomers dont drive across town for nothing. Yes...I understand that the owner's phone number is on the door or something.Maybe will try again in the future. Read more
This used to be one of my favorite places to get food on the go, via drive thru. The last time I came, there were, I am only... assuming new people, who just seemed to have been messing around. I miss the quick and easy service I received prior. Definitelyneed to teach these young men it?s a job not a joke! Read more
This place used to be really good. Everything was always hot and fresh. Me and my family haven't been here in a while. We just... had a pretty bad experience. The food on the bar looked like it had been sitting there all day. Also, the salad bar didn't lookappetizing at all. The lettuce was brown looking and the other greens were wilted. It just wasn't the same as when they firstopened. I really hope we just caught them on a bad day. Read more
It was just okay. I had the $12 pot roast, green beans and limas. It was just okay... under seasoned and just generally... lack-luster, especially for the price. I made a side salad which was per pound and it was another $3.50. I'll probably take ithome and season it better. The Mexican cornbread was kind of stale and not much flavor. It might be just an off day but thereare so many places around that are doing better food for the price. Read more
Stop whatever you are doing and go eat here! This is some of the best food I have ever had! I ordered the pot roast, Mac and... cheese, squash, and broccoli salad. They put grapes in their broccoli salad which gave a delicious sweetness to it! Pot roastwas seasoned beautifully and so tender and juicy. The mac n cheese was perfection! It was creamy and cheesy perfect combinationof the two! I would have a picture but I literally devoured it! 10 out of 10! Read more
My friend told me that this is one of the best meat and threes in the area. I completely agree and have been blown away. Can?t... believe I didn?t come here sooner. Meatloaf was great. Broccoli was great. Sausage was great. There wasn?t one thing that touchmy lips that wasn?t great. I give them an ?A? and be looking for the review on the Jack on the go show on YouTube. Read more
Place was clean and inviting. Friendly and helpful staff serve you in a cafeteria style ordering process. Little disappointed in... the food but I'm possibly being too picky. Been in the south forever and know what to expect from a good meat n 3. None of thefood tasted bad, it was just lacking the homemade flavor so to speak. Sweet tea was excellent though. Read more
Been coming here since it opened. Used to be great and we came so often we knew some of the staff names. Food used to be fresh... and hot. 6:15 pm and all the food looked like lunch leftover. Vegetables were dark and tasted like reheats. Fried okra was NOTedible. Catfish was chewy and tough on the edges. Cornbread was hard, not edible. Salad bar was already being taken apart whenwe arrived. Won?t be back unless it changes. We?ve recommended this place to so many in the past. Sorry to see this place godown. Read more
