Last few times, service was horrible as far as wait time on food. Waited 30 mins to get sat only to wait an hour and leave... before getting our food. We watched 3 tables get their food that was seated after us. Our server never checked on us or told usfood was on it's way. Had to ask if she could check on our appitizer because I'm certain she forgot about it. We tried givingthem a few chances since COVID had affected business but they clearly had several workers there. The hostess and waitstaff were amazing. It was very busy but they managed the crowd of people well. The only reason I am giving... this two star review is because of an incident with Francis at checkout. She called me a disrespectful teenager when I wasexiting the restaurant. I am a grown woman and my bill was paid. I am not sure why Francis thought this was an appropriate wayto treat customers. Next time, I will just go to First Watch with my mother instead. I would not recommend this restaurant to myfriends or family. It is like Dick?s Last Resort at checkout except you are not agreeing to this type of treatment. Read more
Cracker barrel is a nostalgic shop and country down home cooking. We LOVE Cracker Barrel. This visit left a well a bad taste in... my mouth. We had left a funeral and decided to take the family for food and fellowship. You know how it is, family you don'tnormally see is in town and now is your chance to catch up. So we called ahead saying there is 14 of us. We get there and thenthey put us on the list because they apparently don't do reservations, even though on the phone we were told ok got it I'll letthem know. That's such a small thing why give them three stars? Here it is. The waitress was good. The food was good. The onlything that went wrong that agitated me and still gets to me. They seated 10 of us at one table (tables put together) and 4 of usat a table with a walkway in between. When I asked if they could slide another table over (there was an empty 8 person *two 4tops* right beside the 10 person) and they said NO ITS SATURDAY AND WE ARE TOO BUSY FOR THAT. *insert calming breating andcounting to 10 here* Now I was there to support my friends and it was not my family so I did not want to make a scene. I wasoffered to talk to the manager and decided my supporting self would sit at the 4 top away from the family. Everything worked outand everything happens for a reason. I can even see why it worked out the way it did. Families have different personalities andall. BUT... too busy to seat a family together? I've eaten at Cracker Barrel dozens of times over the last 50 years. I have always enjoyed the food selections and value. ... This time our server had the advantage of being the most professional server we've ever had. He should be a manager Istead. Now, several weeks later, we went for breakfast at lunchtime.
