Excellent food, great service. We sat on the patio that has a nice view over a horse pasture. Would definitely go back.

Would absolutely be a 5/5 if it's weren't for the wasps. You will almost certainly be visited by them while you dine, even if... you sit inside. They should leave you alone if you leave you alone but you know, they're wasps, you never know. If they find thewasp nest they should just throw a tub of ice cream on it and the ants will take care of the problem naturally. No indictment oftheir service or their food. Even the view is great. I loved the place to be honest, we had our lunch on balcony with the stunning view of the farm facing the restaurant, I had fish... and chips which was okay, as someone who?s had fish and chips in her entire life I cannot give the a good score on that? The servers thumb dipped into our chowder as he placed it on the table for us. We saw him remove his thumb and it was wet. Yes... we could have asked for another - we shouldn?t have to. He was aware his thumb went into the soup. Also didn?t have all of theproper ingredients for the drinks we ordered but instead of informing us, they gave them to us improperly made. Read more

We had dinner at Woodstone Restaurant on a day trip to Galiano Island during the summer. They have a nice patio with a view of... the farm/forest. You may spot a few horses during your dinner! The seafood chowder was highly recommended so I had that as myentree. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. There were jumbo prawns, fish, mussels and clams. I enjoyed the taste of thebroth as well. For dessert, they had a special Japanese style cheesecake which was light and fluffy and accompanied with icecream, a sprinkle of nuts, and edible flowers. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, and the views over the grounds are gorgeous, but the service was what topped it... all to be an exceptional experience. Our server was lovely and split up the chowder that we ordered for our kids to share intoseparate bowls without us having to even ask. The manager came out and gave our two kids toys to keep them happy before foodarrived, and that is every parent's dream at a restaurant, we could then relax and enjoy our meal and drinks and also not feellike our kids were anything short of fully welcome! Highly recommend and truly want to be back whenever we visit Galiano Islandagain. Read more

We were looking at going out for just desserts and the Woodstone Restaurant dessert options looked delish. The restaurant was... absolutely exquisite and super lovely. And although we didn't have a reservation, they sat us and served us, apologizing for anydelays (which there was none). 10/10 would go again. Read more

Great food. Great service and beautiful views. Try to get a table on the patio to enjoy the views. They even had gifts for our... kids to keep them entertained. I would definitely visit again. Read more
