I had a nice beef sandwich and chips. They have limited sides which is why I gave 4 not 5 stars. Friendly staff.
My husband and I went to grab a bite. The manager was sitting at a table with a female. They both ?disappear ? into the... bathroom for at least 15 minutes? 2 minutes later those on the floor put chairs up blocking the bathroom saying out of order? wetried to get soda and the machine wasn?t working. The two sweet teens said we can?t help until manger is back the two teenworkers looked at us then the bathroom utterly uncomfortable as were we? we then saw the manager and his female friend orgirlfriend walk out of the bathroom smiling? manager then goes back on the floor and doesn?t even wash hands with soap and forless than 10 seconds. Then we witnessed him helping 3 people out. So unsanitary This is a public setting and that was utterlyunacceptable. It was clear the girls on the floor were covering for him and I never felt more grossed out to know a managerwould do something of that nature on the job. Corporate was called. I was struck with Omicron recently and all I craved was soup. I ordered them from several places with lots of disappointment.... One day I was at CVS and Potbelly was just next door. They let me sample the soups and I fell in love with the Chicken Pot Piesoup and the Garden Vegetable and got them both. #extremelydeliciousandsoothing. Highly recommended! Read more
My mother and I came here for a late night snack of strawberry milkshakes and cookies. The lady was extremely helpful. We were... able to share a few laughs with her and her fellow coworker. I wanted to share my DISAPPOINTING experience today at Potbelly @544N. Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20887. Potbellyused to be my favorite sandwich place for the past years, and I am not thinking to go back because of what happened: After Igot my sandwich and salad today and I went to check out. Cashier Ivonne asked what sandwich I got, so I told her "Turkey,Regular" clear and loud. She heard me and she turned around and asked the girl who made my sandwich " what did she get?". Andthe girl confirmed what I said. Then another customer (Caucasian, male) next to me was also at the check out. The other cashierjust asked him what he got, did not ask the sandwich girl to confirm the answer, and went ahead to process his order. After Iquestioned the way I was being treated differently. They threw away my salad and sandwich into the trash can in a very angry wayin front of my face. Anyone sees the problem here? I am being discriminated and treated badly. And the cashier Ivonne'sattitude was very rude and unprofessional. I am very disappointed and Potbelly you need to find a better way to train youremployees. Their chicken salad sandwich is my favorite! The ingredients are super fresh and the additional avocado is served in little... pieces which makes the sandwich taste amazing. And they have some live music during lunch time. Read more
