Visit this location tonight around 7:50 pm the staff where very rude, and did not serve me..They said they was about to close,... and wanted to get the store together. So much for customer service ???? you close at 8pm which should be enforced. Thislocation is starting to be iffy, and poorly ran by people who clearly don't want to work... not sure this location is worthvisiting again sad to say this is not the first time the service was bad.. My favorite place to get smoothie/Açaí bowls! The bowls are always fresh and flavorful. I've been to other places that serve... açaí bowls but this place is my go to. Love to order online because it convenient to come in, pickup and keep it moving. Although I have no reason to search for other places who serve these products, Playa bowls does tend to miss a fewingredients/substitutions sometimes. I've had two experiences where my order was missing something that was either apart of theoriginal order or a substitution. No biggie, I always check my order before I pull off, but this can be an inconvenience toothers who make it all the way home. I've had several açaí bowls and haven't been disappointed with flavors, fruits &grains. The Stupid Cupid is also a great flavorful bowl as well. One day I ordered an oatmeal bowl and it wasn't what I wasexpecting. The oatmeal is plain but I had it topped with berries. I personally like my oatmeal with some sugar or sweetness butthis took me by surprise. I was actually going for a bowl of granola topped w/ a smoothie and whole fruits. My expectations justweren't met that time but no fault to Playa bowls. I'm still patronizing this place and getting my nutrition! Check it out! Read more
So happy to have a Playa Bowls right down the street! Cute little space with great indoor seating options. Wish they had an... outdoor space though. I love their New Orleans style iced coffees and coffee smoothies. And my favorite bowl is the kale greenbowl, but all the bowls I've tried have been delicious so far. Prices are standard for smoothie bowls in the area. Parking iseasy - it's located in a plaza. The only downfall is consistency. Some days, it's fresh and excellent and some days it isn't.Also, the toppings vary by who is preparing it, even if you are ordering the same thing. So I would say service needsimprovement. I received coupons; since I live in the area and this Playa bowls opened up in the shopping center near my home; and wanted to... see what the hype was about. Mannn, halfway through the ?chia-tella? bowl and I had to write a review! First, the customerservice was great because one of the lovely ladies working asked if I?d like to sample the bases - as I was so indecisive onwhat to get (that helped make my decision). My faves were the chia pudding base and the açaí base of course! Secondly, I waslooking for something more filling and not too sweet, and the ?chia-tella? bowl does just that for me! Bowls are sooooo freshand the sliced fruits are perfect in appearance (not questionable or browning banana slices). I mean check out the pictures!(Like I said I was halfway through my bowl ???? when I decided to write a review) I recommend for satisfying a sweet tooth -midday/mid evening/or morning meal replacer for sure! So good! We needed an early healthy-ish breakfast and the bowl place we usually go to wasn?t open yet. Playa Bowls came up in my... search and I?m so glad! Ordering online was easy and they were ready quickly. The bowls were divine! We each got an oatmeal bowland ate it too quickly for a picture but we got an extra pitaya/açaí bowl and it was perfect (see pics). Can?t wait to returnhere!
