Late lunch today. Started with an order of their bread, which was good. Then had the Pasta Bolognese, the General Tso's... Cauliflower, and a side of Mac n Cheese. Unfortunately, the Mac n Cheese was blah and the sauce served with the Cauliflower wasoverpowered by the taste of ginger. The Husband loved the Pasta and the Cauliflower was good. Visited 10.22.22 Ordered the General Tso cauliflower, spinach and artichoke dip, Salmon Romesco, Crab Crusted Haddock with a... Sazerac and Desert Flower cocktails. The menu has good choices, food is good and a decent selection of cocktails. I wish thehaddock came with more sauce because it needed a little more to bring all the flavors together. Nice atmosphere for casual dining; nice date spot. Service is friendly, but showed signs of newness. Mixed drinks were pretty... good; wings with dry rub were tasty and crispy if a tad too salty. Steak frites was very good. A little pricier than I expected($120 lunch for 2 - 1 drink each, 1 app), but not out of line for the area. This spot is good now, and should be even betteronce they get past their growing pains. Read more
As I read Hamid Mohebbi 5 star about his amazing review about "Very attentive staff. Server made fantastic recommendations on... food and drinks", I did not get that experience. I came in with a date on Friday around 5pm, and greeted by a nice host andseated us to a nice booth by the kitchen door looks like. While looking at the menus and drink list ,my date forgot her ID so Iwent to the car and grab it. I found it finally and starting walking back to the restaurants. I came in behind a couple who gotseated down close to where i was seated. When i came back my date told me no came for waters and orders. We waited for a good 15minutes and decide to leave when i saw the couple that I came back in with was taken care of first before we did. My advice topeople is to make sure you make a reservation and dress like you got money. Maybe you get a 5 star review then. Read more
We went lastnight for their first day soft open. Very attentive staff. Server made fantastic recommendations on food and drinks.... The steak and frites was delicious, steak perfectly seasoned and great flavors in the parm truffle fries. Also loved thepomegranate martini and their Old Fashioned. Excited to go back soon. Sorry that I forgot to take pictures before eating, haha Very, very good staff! One of their main points they made clear was... that it was a scratch kitchen and they can accommodate every and any dietary restriction. One such allergy someone in my grouphas was carrots, and we were quickly told the braised beef was braised with carrots. Don't be embarrassed, cause they really arewilling to work with everything The food was great, with the highlights being the salmon, risotto fritters, spinach andartichoke dip, and the steak frites. Although the steak itself is flat iron(I may be wrong), the chimichurri added great flavorand the fries were amazing. I only had a bite of the salmon, but it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. It is a casual place, Iwore cargo pants and a t-shirt and did not feel out of place. I recommend trying it out, and we will definitely return! Read more
