Reviews for Bonchon Gainesville in Gainesville, VA
This was my second visit to the location and it continues to be TERRIBLE!!! Don't waste your time.... This one is not like the... other Bonchon restaurants; quality wise the food is sub par. Paid ~15 dollars for tenders and rice and my meal tasted likefrozen foods chicken tenders you get from sysco... not even remotely satisfied. Rice was hard and crunchy... bottom of thebarrel rice. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY SERVED THIS. Read more
My wife and I to a moment while the kids were at a friend's house and had lunch here. The young lady at the counter eas... incredibly sweet and made recommendations on food and sauces. The food was quick, fresh, and very tasty. Read more
I like Bonchon, but the bad reviews about the small size of the wings at this location was concerning. I decided to try it... myself. Not sure if they got bigger wings based on the other negative comments, but all seemed good to me. Size does matter(!)and these wings were good sized. Everything was also delicious, as I would expect from Bonchon. I got 16 wings with half spicy, half soy garlic, 8 boneless wings, and the seasoned fries. It was all tasty. Ordered ahead and it was ready to go s soon as Igot there. Read more
Everything was great, customer service was great. The store was very clean and looked very nice, but the food itself was very... disappointing. I?ve eaten Bonchons numerous of times and this location for whatever reason sold very small wings for the sameprice as every other location. Read more
I?ve been a very longtime fan of bonchon and I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this one. I ordered a medium soy... garlic platter and two sides of rice. The tenders are a completely different kind than they used to be. They?re thinner andcrunchier. My main complaint about them is that they barely held onto the sauce and I definitely think they were frozen from abag. Even the sauce seemed too salty compared to normal. I used to think you couldn?t screw up white rice too badly but I standcorrected. It was completely unseasoned and bone dry. Even the glass of water I got was bad. It tasted like chemicals. Overall Iwould like to warn people to steer clear. Almost $40 spent on one of the worst meals of my life. Read more
I love Bonchon and have been to pretty much every location in the DC metro area, and for whatever reason, this one consistently... serves the smallest wings. It's on par with other locations in terms of quality but I always feel like I'm paying twice as muchbecause of their tiny wings. I mean where do they even find wings that small??(refer to the pic) I can't speak for anythingelse because I only get wings from Bonchon. I'm giving them 2 stars because at least their service has improved quite a bitsince they opened. EDIT for the OWNER: I don't think you're actually sorry at all and I've already given you second chances.Your customers have been complaining about your tiny wings for over a year from day one but you keep saying sorry and continueto cut corners by sneaking in those tiny wings. And I will continue to take my business elsewhere to Manassas and Centreville. Read more
First time stopping at this bonchon and I was just going by and decided to curbside pick up. For the first time I also ordered... the boneless wings since I was driving. I have to say they're not as good as the bone in wings but they are still very verygood. I got the half and half so I was able to eat a hot one and then offset it with the soy one. I had pre-ordered to have itready at 11:00 a.m. and it was out to the car by 11:07 so I was happy with the service. Read more
I usually love to go to Bonchon. Tonight I tried this bonchon In Gainesville for the first time. I ordered 32 strips and a fry.... I took a bite out the strips and the chicken was raw and rubbery. The fries weren?t fully cooked too. I went here with me and mydaughters witch are one, three and five. We instantly felt sick. Never will I go back to this place. Definitely wasn?t worth it. Read more
