Honestly, not only the worst Wendys I've ever been to, but one of the worst restaurants in Gainesville, and that says a lot. ... I've ordered from this location easily a dozen or more times over the years as it's the only thing on my way home, and I dreadit every time. More often than not, on those nights I really don't feel like cooking after work, I'll just go to bed withouteating. That's how AWFUL this location is. The food is almost always cold or has obviously been sitting under the heat lightsversus being made fresh. That's if they even get your order correct. If the food wasn't enough to keep you away, the customerservice and lack of hygiene practices will make you want to leave. If you go through the drive thru, the staff will barelyacknowledge you and will become visibly irritated if you ask questions. If you go inside, you'll be overwhelmed with the lack ofgloves, hair nets, hand washing, etc. Its been clear for years that management does not care about the customers, or the staff,for that matter. The length of time management has allowed the location to go on like this, tells me that the districtmanager/location owner has forgotten about this location. Ordered one junior bacon cheese with only mayo mustard tomatoes and bacon. Didn't get tomatoes or mayo on sandwich. Second... sandwich was a junior cheeseburger made the same without bacon. Still no tomatoes or mayo and had onions on it after Ispecifically asked for no onions. Had to ask them to finish making sweet tea so I could have a drink. Also they were taking onlyone order at a time in the drive through. I sat at the window and watched them ignore people so they could stand there andgossip instead of taking orders as they come to the drive through speaker. I waited 20 minutes. 15 just waiting for them to takemy order. Had to go to work.. didn't have time to go back to fix orders. Will go to a different location next time. Read more
I absolutely love this Wendy?s. My order is never wrong. I always do the mobile order and pick up at the drive thru. The only... issue is the wait time in the drive thru. It seems as though they only wait on 2 cars at a time. I personally don?t mind thewait. I would rather them get my order correct than get out faster just to realize my order was wrong and have to goback. However, the last time I went we got cheated a nugget on all 4 combos with nuggets. Lol. We didn?t mind. Thought it was abit funny actually. Read more
Ordered a burger combo, asked for the bacon on the side. While waiting for my food I observed the person with their fingers... inside the fry container while placing it in the bag (ungloved) after touching their face and flirting with another worker. WhenI got my food, the bacon was on the burger but there weren't any of the other toppings. If they weren't the slowest wendysI've ever been to I would have went inside for them to fix it but I didn't have enough time. Read more
This is the worst Wendy's restaurant I've ever visit in my 64 year of life. I was very hungry and didn't check my beef burger.... I felt something strange in my mouth. It turned out to be bacon. I immediately spit it out and told the employee inside that Ididn't order this and I can't eat pork. He quickly apologized and admitted it was his mistake. The place seems like your average Wendy?s then I started paying attention their process of bagging and prepping the food. I... asked the manager why they don?t wear gloves after watching him grab an order of fries with his palm and fingers touching thefood. Did we not just go through 2 year of realizing how important hygiene is and now we?re just back to touching counters, thePOS systems, cleaning, and then bagging food without washing hands and using gloves? After I asked the manager he did comply andask the rest of the bagging staff to put gloves on but clearly that?s not the norm because one of the guys kept asking ?how longdo I have to wear them? the taco salad comes in three separate packages so bring your own mixing bowl i guess. and the so called chili is waste water... with a little tomato sauce and 5 small pieces of ground beef dumped in. I flushed it down the toilet where it would be moreuseful. Oh and the 'signature salsa' is the worst salsa I've ever tasted. The saltine crackers were the only edible item i gotfor my $10. The foods usually alright. Just budget an extra 45 min cuz it's a wait. We are up in there like 3-5X a week and usually on a... tight schedule. Best breakfast in town tho. Read more
