Finally stopped in after driving by several times weekly and was glad I did. The dining room is bigger than expected and... decorated with lake photos. The barbecue was just fine as was the Brunswick stew. Will be back. Read more

We were out and about with family and looking for a place to eat that offered outdoor dining since we also had a small dog with... us for the ride. This was a hidden gem that we found and also we had all been in the mood for bbq. The service was fast andfriendly. The food was delicious. I had the 3 rib plate, Brunswick stew, and Cole slaw. The corn is different, but I stillthought it was good. I also had some mac and cheese which I thought was also good. The corn and Mac and cheese being leftoverfrom my family that gave them over to me. I would certainly eat here again. Read more

I have been a few times. I usually pick up on the way to work. Last time I remember not having enough sauce with my sandwich.... One 2oz portion cup is not enough for a pulled pork sandwich. Today I called ahead and ordered 2 sandwiches. When I got there, Iasked for some extra sauce. I was told that extra sauce is 50 cents each. I was shocked. Its not about the money. How are yougoing to sell a sandwich with not enough sauce to enjoy it, and then charge for more sauce? The women explained if I were eatingthere I could have more sauce and that the sandwiches were costed with the 2oz BBQ sauce. She also said that she didn't make therules. She politely offer me two more sauces. I have added a picture of the four "2 oz" sauces I received. Needless to say, mysandwich was still a bit dry and could have used more sauce. Edit 2/9/21: still charging innocent hard working Americans forenough sauce to eat the sandwich. Why don't they factor enough sauce into the cost of the sandwich? Read more

Great quality, course shredded, lean smoked pork barbecue. Big pork barbecue sandwiches on sesame seed buns. And the Brunswick... stew is absolutely fabulous. Very little juice. It's all coarse, chunked meat with a few vegetables. You can taste the smoke andthe meat flavor not much else. This is the BBQ purist's choice. I buy this Brunswick stew by the quart. And open on Sunday! There was nobody else in there this Sunday afternoon. The food was prepared quickly and tasted great. I ordered extra for a latesupper. Clean, large, unisex bathroom. Read more

We had been wanting to try Sherry's for quite some time since they are north of us, away from all traffic in Gainesville, GA.... They have a very nice set up but unfortunately falls short of what I have come to expect out of a BBQ place... A good brisket, amazing sides AND friendly service!! My wife joined me for this so she normally gets a veggie platter and ended up with MAC &CHEESE, GREEN BEANS, BBQ BEANS and POTATO SALAD. The MAC & CHEESE was good, cheesy with good cheese taste and the POTATO SALADwas OK, not bad but nothing spectacular. The GREEN BEANS did not taste good to us though and after one bite we thought "are theyburned?". The BBQ BEANS tasted like ketchup and had a strong flavor to them, so if you're into those type of beans you'll likethem. I ordered a 3 MEAT plate and ordered an additional side since it only comes with 1 side, so I picked the MAC & CHEESEalong with CREAM CORN. The MAC & CHEESE as mentioned above was good and the cream corn was creamy and tasty. The pulled pork wasOK and could have been a more tender but with their carolina sauce it was good. By the way, we are NOT spicy eating people andtheir spicy sauce did nothing to neither one of us... that was a shock! My turkey was refrigerator COLD so definitely not cookedfresh and my brisket, although it had a good rub and taste, was tough. Definitely not one of my best BBQ finds :-( Roli'sRating: 1. Service: 5/10, My wife always gets VEGGIE PLATTERS when we go eat BBQ and most locations will offer some type ofplatter for some $ amount. We didn't see it on the menu when we walked in so she asked the young man "I don't see a veggieplatter... are there any veggie platter options?" If the location doesn't have any we would simply expect a nice and quick "I'msorry, we do not... but we could do *insert options*" but instead we just got a "NO" with a blank stare.... after a quick momentof silence she just said OK and ordered the items individually. The lady that brought us our food smile Read more
