We were greeted with a smile from Gwen, the hostess andintroduced to Morgan, our server. The menu has something for both land & sea lovers. The menu was a little pricey, but wellworth it. The ???? strawberry vodka soda was tasty. On Mondays they have a 3 lb crab leg special. Incredible steak options andevery seafood option imaginable. We opted for the crab bisque as a starter, this is a true bisque for those chef's out therethat know how a bisque is made. This one is! We then had the scallop platter which came with medium sized scallops, frenchfries, 2 corn fritter hush puppies, and a 4oz. side of creamy cold slaw. My hubby had the mahi mahi w/a side. The 1lb of crablegs, mexican street ???? corn, and they threw in a couple potatoes. The condiments are all fresh housemade. Honestly, it wasthe best tarter sauce I have had. Reminded me of the classic Noahs Ark restaurant tarter in St Charles, Mo. Yummy and thebutter, it is truly hot drawn clarified butter with hints of old bay. Everything was ???? perfect! Food was terrible!! Fries were cold greasy and soggy. The picture is the scallops. Take the breading off and it's a dried little... piece of rubber. I told the server that I couldn't eat them, she just picked up my plate and walked away. A few minutes laterbrought the check. Unbelievable!!! My daughter didn't get what she ordered. Welp nothing much to say really... When the Mr. Says this is our new spot. You better believe it was A1 on point! From the... Customer Service down to the Food's quality and quantity. First Time going and we've stared this place in the face many timesstopping for gas on the way to Orlando and Miami. Never thinking anything of it because to me it always looked closed andabandoned... but it is far from that. It was a beautiful day! So we sat outside and enjoyed the breeze and natural view around.Our waitress was absolutely wonderful with her customer service! I wish I could remember her name I just remembered her sayingshe was also the bartender on that day. Even another party's waitress was very helpful by stopping to answer a few questions forus and that's very rare nowadays at restaurants. Food was very good and plentiful! My husband couldn't even eat all of his andthat's very rare for him. I ordered some appetizers to go. I'm not big on cold food but those fried green tomatoes were Awesomeat a cold state. Clean place great food. Service was ok and very slow but I think they cater more to their outside seating and bar areas. Decor... was nice and they had live music outside (noticed upon departure). Wish we had know this before our visit we might have askedfor different seating and had a more enjoyable experience. Read more

This place looks much better on the outside than it does inside. Like at least one other review mentioned, this isn't the... cleanest place. I believe the carpet another review had mentioned had been pulled up where we sat. However, the floor didn'tlook swept, and our table and menus were sticky. The cushion in my booth were misshaped from overuse. We were greeted by a male,who later asserted he was managing and bartending; he took our drink and appetizer order, and we waited 17 minutes for him tobring our drinks. After an apology that they misfired our appetizer order, our appetizer, mussels, finally arrived 33 minutesafter the initial order. The mussels were warm, not hot, and were nothing remarkable. Nothing tasted freshly prepared. Ourentree arrived about twelve minutes later, while we were still eating the appetizer. The entrees, gator and shrimp po' boys,weren't noteworthy, either. The gator was over cooked, quite chewy. The shrimp was over salted. The remoulade sauce was the bestpart. I was also disappointed by the veggies on the sandwich; the tomato had no taste, and the lettuce wasn't crisp. They eitherweren't fresh or had not been well-refrigerated prior to serving. The coleslaw that accompanied the po' boys was gross. Ittasted like it had been leftover from the previous day. The fries appeared to have a light batter and were over salted as well.They didn't even taste like house-made fries. The server/manager/bartender gave half-hearted service. This was my first and lasttime to Wahoos. I was really disappointed with bothering the service, atmosphere, and food. Read more
