this location has gone downhill, unfortunately. the new crew seems disorganized and generally unfriendly, granted they're always... overwhelmed but the overall atmosphere is not what it used to be. they're frequently out of stock of many items, includingstraws and cup tops, again that's probably a corporate thing but just trying to save some folks some time if they want straws orgeneral items like a lid for their cups. always a bummer when a new crew disrupts the old flow. At Starbucks, they have a variety of spectacular items, and even a few that are holiday themed! Pumpkin Spice Latté -... Fall Pumpkin Bread - Fall Peppermint Sprinkle Latté - Winter Ext. Ext. The service is typically friendly but it?s very slow. This morning I waited 20 minutes for a simple cup of black coffee. They... didn?t even start brewing a new batch until 15 minutes after I ordered because they were fixing the drinks of people who orderedafter me. I just would have liked them to start brewing more coffee when I ordered because they knew they were out instead ofimmediately taking the next order and falling behind. They?re somewhat slow even when taking your order but they always have the actual supplies to complete your order, whereas some... of the other Starbucks on campus run out of supplies and ingredients before it?s even 9 o?clock. what happened to this location and the previous crew? the new crew doesn't seem to have much of an idea as to what they're... doing, whilst i was waiting for my drink, basically everyone else who was also waiting was either being told they're out ofstock of something or returning their drinks because they weren't made properly. i had ordered a paradise drink and it wasn'tuntil after waiting for about 5-10 minutes that i was told there is no coconut milk. other folks were also waiting for a whilebefore they were told that an item they ordered isn't available. it would've been cool to know that from the cashier before iplaced the order and waited around. they apparently weren't able to give me a refund because i paid through the app, whichdoesn't make sense because i've gotten a refund through the app before. they've also been out of cold brew for more than a weeknow, but they're not making it clear on their boards that the cold brew is unavailable, at least have a note up at the cashregister so people know what's up. this is a busy time of the semester for them and while i know they're absolutelyswamped/overworked, paying attention to little details like this can make the experience better for the customers.
