DO NOT EAT HERE! SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! Bar area! Place my order at 6:39pm after waiting 15 mins for a bartender to even... appear. I ordered a simple burger with crispy fries. At 7pm, I ask "how much longer?", as I'm not in a hurry, I know staffshortages are bad everywhere. Bartender says not long. Waits on another couple at the end of the bar. They order 2 quesadillaand 2 orders of wings A MANAGER IN A RED SHIRT BRINGS THEM THERE FOOD AT 719PM. That's right! So both bartenders won't evenlook at me. I call the one I wr while he's acting busy and asked again, just curious, how much longer? Said he would go ask thekitchen. 2 bartenders behind the bar! He continues to do whatever he was doing. Then at 725pm walks back to the kitchen, comesback and says it won't be much longer Shulas is busy. Mind you at almost an hour of sitting there 2 couples walked in. I getthe other bartenders attention at 739pm and tell them to cancel the burger. Still takes 8 mins for them to give me my check andthe manager in red comes out again to drop something else off to the people that ordered after me something else. So I'm wellover an hour waiting after I ordered. No apology, no visit from a manager at a high end steak house, they just pass me the checkfor my single beer, that no one even asked if I wanted another. And let me go about my way. Was visiting for work. Ate at Shula's 3 times. Had the Scallops, Truffle Fries, Seared Tuna app, Lobster Bisque, Caesar, Tomato... & Burrata Salad, Wedge Salad, and many spicy margaritas. Made reservations for my husbands birthday. I read a lot of the reviews a lot not so good and good reviews and thought about... canceling and going somewhere else. I took my hubby for his birthday today and they exceeded my expectations. We had steak andlobster and they were amazing. Our waiter Aiden was very helpful and attentive. The ambiance is excellent. I had reservations on Sunday. The restaurant had one other couple. When I arrived I was seated at a table for 2, and the table... cloth looked like someone had wadded it up, wrinkled it beyond use, then put it on the table. I mentioned this to the hostess,who laughed, and did not offer to move me. then I mentioned it to the waiter, who again laughed and did not offer to move me. I requested to speak to the manager, who never came over. If I am going to spend $100 per person for a meal at a fine diningrestaurant, I expect the linen to be in order. It speaks volumes about how they would treat your food. No attention to detail. I got up and left, I work too hard for my money to give it to these folks. The steak was pretty good but embers has them beat. The lobster was very dry. I?ve never left half a lobster on my plate before.... The server wasn?t super informed but friendly. One of my drinks had a bug in it. I had a few sips so that was super gross but Idid get a new one. I will say overall flavor of the drinks was phenomenal. The fries lack salt and flavor. The potato au gratinwas a favorite though. It?s good. But it?s not excellent. It?s definitely not worth $200 for 2 people. I have had better steaksin lower end establishments. I?m staying in the hotel, walked down to Shula?s, waited at the checkin table for 5 mins and no one showed. Decided to go to the... lounge right beside the restaurant, they use the same kitchen. Sat down at a table in the lounge and after 15 mins, thebartender comes up asks do I need anything, I told her dinner. She said the kitchen is closed. I asked what time does thekitchen close, she says 9 PM, I look at my watch and it says 9:02. I walked out. Staff and management walked by my tablenumerous times, the bartender looked at me several times but no one can see I don?t have a drink or food on my table! I really loved celebrating my fifth anniversary at this restaurant. Our waiter?s service was great and despite the fact that we... didn?t have the bottle of Prosecco we wanted, he solved the problem diligently. The only criticism I have is that the restaurantis too bright, they should make the lights dimmer to give me a more romantic atmosphere. Read more
