As soon as you walk in the smell is so strong it is not like any other poke bowl place. Communication with the staff is... difficult. Then we were most interested in the ice cream with toppings and there is NONE I was told ?we don?t do that? eventhough there it is on my tray being advertised. Usually great with portions for the price, but recently, they've been providing smaller portions while keeping the bowls at the... same expensive price. On top of that, the vegan/vegetarian bowl had made me sick to my stomach when I ordered recently - I hadto lay in bed and try to keep the food in. I always order the same thing - the vegan/vegetarian bowl, so I'm extremely surprisedthat I got a bad bowl that caused me to be ill. I wanted to try something new in Gainesville, and so I found Pokébowl Station. I ordered the Vegan of the Sea, which wasn?t the... best combination of ingredients; however, the vegetarian chicken was so realistic and flavorful. Prices are a tad bit steep for$14 a bowl. 7/10. Read more
I like their food but sometimes their fish tastes a bit weird, not sure if they always serve fresh fish. Also, they are very... cheap with how much fish they put per bowl, like they use a small scoop of fish per bowl, I don?t know but I feel like it?s notenough for what?s supposed to be a meal. I love this place! Some of the best Poke in the area for sure. I always recommend one protein bowl with sushi rice and asking... for double or anything you want. Kani salad, Edamame, masago, and seaweed salad are some of the best toppings imo. They arepretty generous with portions for a $9 bowl and I usually get the spicy tuna or salmon.
