Great food and great service. Not too long of a wait for food. More than we could eat. Yummy.
May be the best Mexican food in Gainesville. Extensive menu of great selections. Clientele is primarily latino so that is... indicative of the quality of this place. My only complaint may be that there is no liquor service so no margaritas,lol. They doserve beer and wine. About 60% full on a Saturday at 1 pm. Read more
Cute little Mexican restaurant food was really good. Waitress pressured a little to much to take order. The chips and salsa were... fresh. We did have to listen to the other waiters and waitress' goofing around and saying inappropriate things (I speak fluentSpanish) so I knew exactly what was being said. This restaurant is very authentic and has great tasting Mexican food. I arrived today with my companion and ordered the pulled... chicken quesadilla, my companion ordered the seafood quesadilla. When we were seated, the waitress brought chips and salsa andthe salsa was perfect, not too spicy it was just right. She took our drink orders and promptly returned with our drinks and totake our order. The food came quickly, my pulled chicken quesadilla was packed with lots of shredded chicken and cheese, mycompanion's seafood quesadilla came with shrimp, scallops, fish, peppers, onions, and tomatoes. It was extremely full and mycompanion was only able to finish half. The quesadillas are quite large and come with a generous serving of sour cream on theside. Our waitress was great and when we were done she actually brought us a bag to put our extra chips in and an additionalcontainer of salsa to take with us, which the chips and salsa were no charge. We loved the food, it was fresh and flavorful. But the actual restaurant atmosphere was a little disappointing, tables were a... little dirty, some of the lights were broken and we ended up in a dark corner. Overall I?d definitely recommend to do a take outcause the food is 10/10. Read more
The freshly made guacamole alone makes this place worth your time. Small restaurant nestled in a strip of shops with an... unassuming sign, it?s a hidden gem! Good food, good service. The food is awesome and you get large size portions. The menu is full of great selections. They have a great friendly staff that... are bilingual. The restaurant looks small but can fit a lot of people. The service was quick and fast and the food was hot. Iwas disappointed they did not serve alcohol/beer but the food was still worth having without a beer or margarita. The locationis on the north end of Gainesville but worth the drive for a great cooked Mexican dish. Read more
I?m from up north so it?s hard to find good Mexican food in Florida but this place surprisingly was decent. I order tacos and my... husband order a menudo. The tacos were pretty good and the menudo was okay not enough meat more caldo then anything. Read more
