Missing part of order on Aug 16, 2022. Attempts at contacting owner by myself and by corporate through their corporate case... filing system have gone unresponded to. Will be filing official papers with the court to be served to the franchise the week ofSeptember 5, 2022. Check your order when you pick it up to avoid having to go through this. Read more

This location is terrible. I've been twice and both times my order was made incorrectly. Not to mention when I went to pickup... my order, the employees had an entire gaming console set up that they were playing on. Maybe if they focused more on their joband less on gaming the food would be better. Read more

This is for anyone who might be considering a job at this location. I was a manager (promoted quickly) after being hired due to... the low retention rate of managers. To put it bluntly this establishment does not treat any of their workers with respect ordecency, and there were several pay issues. The store is located on University Ave, so it's right next to the University ofFlorida. On game days (football) business soars and when they hired new people to the business they openly promoted the factthat they would pay 20.00 dollars a hour on game days. This promise was not kept to the dozens of people working at thisestablishment. Not only was this promise not kept until I and other co-workers consistently brought up the issue and demandedto be paid accordingly, and waited months for the issue to be resolved. people cannot wait months for money they are owed, theyhave bills to pay. There have also been several pay issues with drivers at this Jimmy John location. Drivers are paid viawisely, and we pay them through documenting their tips as managers. However, since we weren't allowed to pay our drivers in cash(as it was paid via wisely digitally) as a manager we had rely payroll and higher management to roll out the pay correctly, which they consistently did not roll out correctly. Drivers every shift would have to take pictures of their receipts just sothey could get paid correctly. This isn't even mentioning the the poor pay for entre-level employees. The starting pay is 9.00dollars a hour, which gets raised to 10.00 once "training has finished". This low pay, and ridiculous policy of starting peopleat 9.00 to only switch them to 10.00 in usually less than a month contributes greatly to the low retention rate seen within thisJimmy Johns. I would not advise working here unless the conditions have greatly changed or the pay is substantially higher.Which is unlikely because the upper management for this Jimmy Johns is utterly inept and unprofessional. Wow, this location sucks. I had never gone to this one and I'm not doing that again. Made an online order, gave them about 20... minutes, then arrived at the store. My food wasn't ready, but that's fine, I can wait. There was a bit of a crowd and thecashier joked to everyone that she was going to stop accepting orders because it's busy. Depreciative humor that makes me feelbad for having stopped in bothers me. Just don't joke out loud like that. I ordered a Lil John, which shouldn't even take aslong as a full sub, as a combo. It was packaged nicely and I drove back to work. When I went to eat I noticed that my sandwichliterally only had TOMATO, LETTUCE, AND MAYO. Nothing else. None of the meat or cheese I ordered. What an embarrassment.Ridiculous. I wasted my work break. I already sent a feedback form to Jimmy John's because I've never seen this before. Alsoparking for this location is non-existent and atrocious, but that's not their fault. Read more

Don?t order for delivery unless you?re placing your order *at least* two hours before you plan on eating. It takes that long to... get your sandwich delivered. This has happened several times to us and happened even before the pandemic. At that point whoknows if your sandwich is even safe to eat though since it?s probably been sitting in a backpack or on a car seat for at least30-45 minutes. It?s just not worth it. Order from somewhere else where the employees at least pretend to care. Read more

Normally I wouldn?t write such a scathing review, but this is the third instance of Jimmy Johns on university taking over an... hour for a simple sandwich and chips order. Every time their excuse is that they only have one driver. I order Jimmy Johns forfast and efficient delivery since I usually have a small window between jobs to eat. If you?re going to advertise ?freaky fastdelivery? then, as responsible fast delivery-based business, you should hire more than one driver. This is simply unacceptableand needs to be handled.
