It?s decent. The meat is good. I got a salad and ended up picking out quite a bit of the pieces due to them being extremely... brown and wilted but overall the salad was decent. Hubby got a sandwich and he liked it. I feel the quality of the products havegone down since we started eating firehouse all those years ago. But then again so has the quality of everything. Just had one of best subs I've ever eaten (and I eat a lot of subs). It was the NY Steamer with ham and pastrami. Was tender,... juicy, and delicious (and roll was very fresh and tasty, which is not always the case at Firehouse). Highly recommend this sub,if you go to Firehouse. (Be careful they put mustard, mayo, and salad dressing on it. I opted for just the mayo.) Would liketo see better seating area. It's a little drab and too close. Booths would improve it. Read more

I had a free Medium sub as a birthday offer and wow was it great. If you sign up for their rewards, they give you a free medium... sub in your birthday (expires 5 days after) and of course I had to try it out. The engineer sub had all the typical subtoppings (lettuce, mayo, some cold cuts) but also had sautéed mushrooms that were delicious and honestly surprised me. Thewhole grain bread was also great and everything tasted pretty fresh. It did not taste like something they microwaved in the backwhich seems to be more common these days. Food overall was great! It's pretty tough to beat a good Firehouse Sub. This location was pretty empty on a Saturday night but still took about 10... minutes to get our 2 small sandwiches to us. Not the end of the world, but certainly not ideal. Friendly staff and a nice plusis the outdoor seating available in front. My wife and I both opted for a small sub tonight and with water to drink, the totalcame out to just over $11. We also used Bite Squad recently to order from this location and our sandwiches arrived just asrequested. Definitely worth stopping in for, especially if you enjoy hot, steamy subs. So good! Normally, this is a safe bet but it has gone downhill as of late. The average wait between 11am and 12 noon has been 20-30... minutes, when things aren't busy. The staff don't communicate any delays, and orders can come out somewhat randomly. Which,further causes confusion/concern for those who have been waiting. The most recent visit, which will be my last for some time,saw a 25 minute wait with low traffic at 11:33pm. When my order was ready, it was met with a half-hearted name call and backturn. The sandwich meat was overcooked and the bread was sticky on the outside (not sure why, didn't eat it) and soggy on theinside. For the prices they charge, it's not worth it at all. Read more
