The food is not bad. Service is quick and everyone has been friendly. Honestly by Cracker Barrel standards it would be 4 star if... not for the fact every time we come to this location we find crusty dishes, 3/3 times this year. Friday dinner stop before a movie. Not too busy which is good since they appeared to be short staffed. (These days who isn't)... Food was consistently good again although two of the four biscuits were over cooked. Good portions and everything was hot. Read more

Heard so much about this Food place ,,, Really like the Ambiance,,, Service was too good ,,,, I like the shopping store which... has beautiful collection of novelty things ,,, Only thing which I didn?t like was the Dish I ordered?Fried Chicken and Meat loaf,,, Meat loaf was good but Fried Chicken was awfully filled with oil ... There is a lot to be said about service at a Cracker Barrel. My girlfriend and I rented 2 Airbnbs in the area (The Loft and Lake... Butler). Relaxation and away from the grind is what we were looking for. There are 2 Cracker Barrel?s to go to each about 25minutes from each location mentioned above. This one receives absolute 5 stars for cleanliness, superb customer service,personality, friendliness, attention to detail, great food made correctly, and as much as I could possibly say to make thisreview more than it is already. Price for food was fairly priced as well making everything perfect on this visit inGainesville. If you are reading this review you will be pleasantly happy with going here. The other one in Lake city I wouldnot visit at all, which is why we ended up here with a Gold Card for the worst service we have ever had in any restaurant, somake sure not to go there.
