These ladies are fabulous! Cindy and Sheryl are super friendly and welcoming. The cafe has a room where you place the order with... a few tables for sitting and another room that looks a bit like a pub and has a piano. Their pup Brewster is so sweet and justwants attention. Highly recommend if you want a place to chill, eat, and drink. They are also receptive of requests from guests.:) Read more

This place is a hidden gem. This is my second time back for the lunch special. Today it is a wonderful meat chili and veggie... calzone. The customer service is the best you could ask for and the food is even better ?? everything is made from scratch. Lasttime I was here I got a grilled cheese with a hearty tomato soup that was more amazing than I could describe. Cindy's Cafe and Bakery is a lovely quite local place full of antiques. They have free WIFI and great bakery prices. It was my... second cafe since I came to the UF and is one of my favorite?s places. definitely a place to stop by and have cup of coffee orstudy, or just to explore a new lovely place in Gainesville. Ordered simple stuff. Veggie chili was great it was packed full of every vegetable possible! Tuna bread bowl was a bit blan but... still good and filling. Also try the brownies they were great! Only downside it?s pricey at least through Uber eats. Read more
