Seems like a fair effort. Fast food halal-themed. Taste is mediocre at best. OK for a quick bite; severely disappointing if you... came for halal/Arabian/Turkish style/taste You can make do, but wouldn't rush here the second time. dining area is clean;bathrooms almost clean an breaking apart Read more

I was a very regular Noq customer, but I won't be coming back to the new Bite of Power. The meat at Noq was so tasty, and I'd... always get the salad w/ chicken and lamb. It was delicious and was healthy-ish. I'm attaching a picture of the salad. Thereare like 5 small leaves of salad in the whole dish. The chicken used to be really good, but is now very dry. The lamb, though,in particular was a major highlight for Noq. It was always cut with something, but it was still very tasty. I suspect theamount of filler was increased, but can't say for sure. However, the lamb very much lost its unique flavor profile. The personI was with got the crab cake, and there was very little crab in that crab cake. On the flip side, the new screens are kindanice, the prices are reasonable, and the service is fast. Read more

Bite of power has been my go-to and most reliable restaurant in the Gainesville area for almost a year. The portions you get for... the price are phenomenal. I?ve had the lamb over rice, chicken over rice, (the white sauce is to die for and I always get extra)the chopped cheese, as well as a couple desserts, like the baklava, and I?ve never had any complaints. I cannot forget tomention the always friendly and accommodating staff that works there. You will certainly be full and satisfied after your meal! Read more

My experience in this place has been becoming more and more negative over time but that wouldn't be enough to post a bad review... until last week. BITE of POWER which is now supposed to operate under new management provides the same menu, with higherprices, arguably worse quality and reduced quantity. They won't offer many sauces as before, and you are gonna pay a lot forsomething it's not really worth it. Last week I ordered a gyro (with lamb) and fries. Of course the lamb was processed! So, Idon't buy that 'we don't compromise quality' ... anyway! The gyro was small and very dry, they didn't even add any sauce eventhough I saw on the screen I placed the order that they normally add a white sauce. When I opened the box of fries I literallysaw 11 fries ONLY and the most important part, THEY WERE UNDERCOOKED! I couldn't believe I paid a little over $13 for that anddidn't even get anything to drink in this price. I don't think places like these can survive competition and I don't like wheneveryone uses inflation as an excuse to overcharge on their menu while simultaneously provide insufficient portions and worsequality. I will definitely not go again. I won't miss these 'fries' and the gyro which I can easily find cheaper, tastier andonly a few blocks away. Read more

Lamb over rice. Service was really fast. As soon as I ordered not even 4 min later it was ready! It's good everything... considered. I'm used to the halal trucks in NYC cooking it fresh! It's taste so much better fresh. All in all pretty goodlocal. Read more
