Absolutely one the best BBQ restaurants I've been to in Alabama!! The restaurant is located in Gainesville, AL, one of rich... history and this BBQ restaurant fits right in! All the food we had was absolutely delicious! I had the St Louis rib and 1/4chicken plate with the best collard greens and cole slaw as a side. My wife had a BBQ pulled pork plate with Cole slaw, potatosalad and baked beans. If they have strawberry shortcake, definitely get it! My wife got it and i tried it and it wasphenomenal, the cake is lemon ppmd cake which makes it even more stunning!! The staff are super friendly and always making sureyou're enjoying your meal. The restaurant atmosphere makes you feel like you're at home and has a very homey/hunting cabin feelto it. The owner Jamie Mitchell was super friendly and came out to make sure we were enjoying everything. Stopped and tried the big sampler and jerk chicken. Ribs were delicious and full of flavor...everything is made from scratch. ... Sorry to say disappointed. Stopped by Sunday 08/21/22 coming from my nephews in MIssissippi. I was looking forward to getting... rids and pulled pork. I got home and did not have a pound of pork. I weighed it 11oz of meat and my ribs were small. The foodtasted good, but I did not get my food and spent over 65.00. I tried to call and have not got them to answer. AMAZING. I've never walked into a venue and instantly fell in love with everything about it. The Pitmaster Jamie Mitchell... greeted us at the door with the biggest most welcoming smile. I knew we were in the right place. I would recommend something onthe menu but I'm just going to recommend, "the menu." Read more
The food is excellent, I found the potatoe salad to be deliciously unique. I'm only giving them 3 stars because of the poor... customer service!!! The 3 young teenage girls at the order counter were cold at best. And the concept that they have a tip jarand nobody waits the tables or refills your glass, oops Did I forget to mention how small the cups are and how every refill willcost you a dollar!!! In a state where BBQ restaurants are everywhere, They might want to make some adjustments!!!! Read more

Passing through the area my wife and I were hungry, she says pull in. As instructed I do and we were greeted at the door and... felt very welcomed. He asked if we have eaten here before and we both said no that we weren't from the area. We decided to dinein , I enjoyed the decor of the establishment especially the cabinet as He explained that was his great grandparents. The foodarrived a few minutes after ordering.
