Been eating there for years, never had a bad meal. Nice wait-staff, quick seating. It's never crowded. Just wish they had more... seafood mexican dishes. Nice view of the Coosa river right out the windows. Like 5 feet away from the water's edge. Read more

This wa the best Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten in my life . We were here for a soccer game and a lady at the academy... suggested it . When we pull up we were looking at it very sketchy. As soon as we walked in the customer service was A1. Thething that made this place different was the quality of the food. Not sure if everything was made from scratch but it was the1st time we ate our entire meal and didn't feel stuffed. Also the gave big servings. When we lefted the waiter let my wife trysome horchata in which she said was amazing. This place can always get my service!!!! Read more

This is as good as it gets. We were introduced to this place by friends. Mexican food is not my first choice but I was not... disappointed. We sat with a waters edge view. The lights were dim but not so much so that reading the menu was possiblewithout using the flashlight on my phone. A plus service is what you can expect. Tell them ole Greg sent you. When they askwho is ole Greg, be honest and say ?i don't know ?. Enjoy. Read more

This was my first time ever eating at El Tapatio, and it will not be my last. The food was so delicious. I wished I would have... taken a picture of it for the review, but it totally slipped my mind. Read more

I literally LOVE this place!! I?ve been here three time now and I cannot get over how good it is. I?ve never been interested in... Mexican food beyond the chips and queso, but I ordered a chicken quesadilla and ate the entire thing. Let me tell you, it wasSO. GOOD. This coupled with the amazing view over the lake puts this place in my top 5 restaurants. Read more

The food was very nice. I enjoyed the salsa and cheese dips. I got an enchilada with rice and beans. I didn't like the sauce... they had on it, but other than that is was delicious. My boyfriend got two cheese quesadillas. He liked them, and said they werethe best he's had in a while. The staff was ever so nice, and every time I was low on my drink they would come by and refill it,along with our chips and salsa. Definitely would recommend, and will come back for sure. If you're looking for cheap place toenjoy this is the spot. The veiw was also very nice from the window seat. Read more

Ordered tacos de carne asada..... (not street tacos) came out completely covered in foil, before I could unwrap the waitress... gave a drive by obligatory ?does everything look ok?? While walking away. Got the foil off only to see about 2 cups of cilantrochopped up onto 3 tacos. No exaggeration. The menu description has no mention of cilantro. I tried to clear enough to possiblyeat it. (Nope it still tastes like soap to me) I pointed out to the waitress that it doesn?t say that it comes with cilantro onthe menu, she immediately wanted to argue, but said what can I bring you? So I ordered enchiladas rancheros, with beef. Ok, sobasic Mexican/Tex mex dish. Raised in Texas and I know Mexican food.... this is not it. Server basically threw my plate in frontof me, it looked like a pile of slop. I feel sorry for the people who live in that area and have never experienced good Mexicanfood. My daughter?s taquitos were dry and definitely not worth eating. Horrible food, rude server. Do not recommend. The pile ofcilantro in pic is half of what was on 1 of the tacos. Not to mention the tomatillo sauce wasn?t given with the order either. When they brought my replacement plate they didn?t even give me hot rice. Read more
