This is one of a chain of local El Patron restaurants. We eat at the one in Attalla quite a lot. The food is good, consistent... and filling. They have a good selection of Mexican foods most expect to find in a US Mexican restaurant. Plates are usually morethan I can eat, even at lunch. I can find gluten free items on the menu or change the order easily to make it gluten free. Theyalways answer my questions and are willing to accommodate my special dietary needs. Read more
Food was great. I always get fajitas the first time I go to a Mexican restaurant. They have some that come with cheese on the... skillet with the meat and peppers. Knocked it out of the park. Service wasn't great but it was a pretty packed house. Willdefinitely stop by again one day. Read more

Great food!!! Large menu with a lot of options to choose from. Dishes are served hot and fresh with ample portions. Drinks are... generous. Service is always spectacular! Prices are good. We love coming here and will continue to dine here. Read more
Food was ok. My shrimp in my chimichanga was really tough and the steak in my son's Mexicana steak was really tough and hard to... chew through as well. The server and the staff were nice and the server stayed on top of drinks and making sure everything wasgood. Don't get me wrong now. The flavor of the food was good and I ate just about all of my food. Read more
Above average Mexican food. Fiesta fajita bowl was excellent. Chicken chimichanga was very good. Tamale dinner was not so good,... therefore I deducted one star. Overall experience was very good so we will most likely return again. Read more
