Very satisfied.\n\nIt has a salad bar with soup, a hot food bar, a cold dish bar, a small dessert bar and and a beverage bar. In... total there are about 20 things to choose from.\n\nIt\'s right in the middle of death valley, it\'s hard to get foodtransported, also it is only ~30 bucks, please don\'t compare it against those nice buffet in Vegas. To me being able to drinkunlimited iced orange juice/coke/coffee with fried chicken + french fries is very luxurious in a trip to national park. Read more

We’re here for dinner. Really good food and okey-ish price ($29 per person, all you can eat, non-alcoholic drinks included)... for being in the middle of the desert. Good flavors and the „pot roast beef“ was just finger lickin‘ good! Great saladoptions, soups and fried chicken. Also loved the fries combined with the cheese sauce. ???? Read more

This place is amazing--amazing it exists at all. It is literally impossible to grow anything at 124°F yet there is a full... service buffet at everyone\'s grasp. It is more than a serviceable food establishment and the aircon works in August. Try thetiramisu. Read more

Both the dinner and the breakfast buffets are overpriced. Not much choice, appearance of buffet not attractive, and food was... so-so. The other restaurant (Kind Last Words) seems very nice, but their main dishes are priced at $50 and above, so this is noalternative for normal people. The shop is also very expensive, so self-catering is also no real option. Overall, you are atDeath Valley and need to take what\'s there. And apparently the owners of this restaurant know it too. ;-) Read more

The absolute worst buffet I’ve ever had. Food was inedible, frozen vegetables were dried and slightly burnt, mashed potatoes... were like wall paper past, fish was watery and over cooked. Not sure who approved this buffet to serve to visitors? Skip thisbuffet at all costs if you are visiting Death Valley. It’s also very expensive at around $30 per person. I understand thatthis place is in the middle of nowhere, but that’s no excuse for this low quality and poorly cooked food. Read more

We were staying in death valley and we thought we had till 10 to get dinner. We did not pay attention to closing times and by... the time we reached at 1849 The Ranch Buffet it was already 8:30pm. I am a slow eater and we are vegetarian so we were worriedif they will have veg options for us and if they would accommodate us since it was already near closing time. But the staff herewas the sweetest and kindest souls. All of them. They were so so kind to let us check the buffet options and told us we couldeat till 10 until the building closes. The lady was kind to go above and beyond and even asked the chef if he could make veganburger for us in case we did not like the buffet menu. They had tons of option a desert could have for hungry souls. Lentilsoup, garlic bread, margherita pizza, pasta with marinara/pesto sauce, veggie balls, cheesecake, garlic bread and soda drinksand coffee. I have been to 5 star hotels as well but the staff at the ranch was the best. I will forever remember theexperience and the hospitality of people in death valley. Read more

We came here, incredibly hungry, short on time and with a long drive ahead. We were offered to have a look at the buffet and to... eat here. Price of $24.99 per person seemed good. We should have been the easiest customers in the world but we took a lookthrough the buffet and the offering was simply awful, with limited choice and just all looking not nice to eat so we decided tocarry on through.\n\nI understand this is in the middle of nowhere but the standard was low enough that having checked the Ranchout we would definitely not stay here for future visits.
